Resumo
The stage is set in the prestigious Private Jyoushioka High School—or more commonly known as Joshi High. It became co-educational a few years ago, but females still heavily outnumber the males. The number of males could be easily counted. While one would think males would be pampered in such a harem school, the reality is far from being heavenly. It was the world of female domination.

So, i'm gonna try make this review spoiler-free. but, there maybe a little spoiler and in every spoiler part i'll put SPOILER ALERT.So, don't hesitate to read this review.

I love gakuen ouji because it is really enjoyable, i mean i read every single chapter without getting bored even once. it is so funny and refreshing to read it.

Story (7/10)
For me, i like the story because i haven't seen something like this before. It is about a school dominated by girls. But there is 2 parts that i feel like stupid and not needed. (SPOILER) the first one is when this girl named seriha come to this school. She is obviously a bitch and pretended to be a nice guy. She share false rumors and all the people in this school believe it, just like any other shoujo manga. I think it is so stupid for a top model to come to this school just to bully the MC (i mean you already success girl, how stupid u can be to just come to someone elses school because ur jealous and bully someone). The second part is the ending, i think the ending was rushed and i found this problem in many other shoujo manga.

Art (7/10)
The art for me, not the best, but it is ok as long as the character looking good

Character (8/10)
I like the character in this manga. The MC is not some type of weak girl who cry all the time (this type of girl makes me wanna slap her straight in her face). The Male lead is also cute and not too cold or something. I like their love hate relationship because it makes this manga so funny and enjoyable to read.

Enjoyment (9/10)
Just like i said b4, i really enjoy this manga and can't stop reading it. I even can't sleep because i keep thinking about it when i try to sleep lol.

Overall (8/10)
Overall, i think this is a good manga and really enjoyable. I think it doesn't matter whether the story is stupid or any other thing because the most important part when u read something is u have to enjoy it.

I don't know where to start so I'm going to use the outdated systematic way of approaching this. It's going to be spoiler-free, well for the most part.

First of all, the story: 6/10
I first found this manga in 2015, the premise looked very interesting to me; a prestigious school full of elites where rich horny girls dominate guys... I did not read it at that time because it wasn't completed but I found it on a website a while ago and it's licensed by Kodansha. It was pretty good in the beginning, I'm a sucker for fake-dating and angst so I was easily hooked. Buuuut, things don't stay too well for too long. Soon it's flooded by annoying characters and filled with stupid misunderstandings. Not that I mind that (since that's what most shoujo is about, love triangles and misunderstandings). Another thing that annoyed me was that literally, nothing makes sense about how things work at their school. I don't understand how absurd rules like that could come to without anyone stepping in, aren't there any sane people left? What are the teachers doing and why does the STUDENT COUNSEL hold so much power yet chooses to do absolutely nothing?! To be fair, taking into account other anime and manga, I can turn a blind eye to that point. And if I think about Boys Over Flowers then this might not that weird after all.

Art: 6/10
The art isn't the best or anything, but it's not bad either. I especially liked the stupid faces that the MC would make, reminds me of Heroine Shikkakku (which is way better than this).

Character: 5/10
Now, here's the worst thing about this manga: THE GUYS. They are so problematic. They're mostly douchbags and know not how to act accordingly. No respect for personal space or the MC. One guy went all the way with a girl when she was DRUGGED just cause they were going out, and they didn't even address it properly later! Excuse you?? That really sets a bad example.
On the other hand, the main girl's character is fine but although she is supposed to be smart she's surprisingly dense.

Enjoyment: 7/10
Well, what can I say? I'm a sucker for shoujo of any kind, even if it's bad. Despite all the shortcomings, this was a fun read.

Overall: 6.5/10
It's an average manga, don't expect much from it. If you have some time to spare and you're in the mood for a typical shoujo then go for it. But there are so many manga better than this.
