Ok so, if this was marketed as a hentai, overall this manga would get an 8 for being a damn good hentai. BUT NO, not a hentai which is, sad ngl so it’s a 5, but let me list some things down before we begin:
Shit in the story:
- Rape, Incest, Drugs, Mind control, more rape, lot’s of sex, cannibalism, murder, lolicon, shotacon, abuse, arson?. yeah. Shit you’d find in a usual hentai except arson.

Note that the artist is a professional hentai artist so yeah. Very detailed lol.
Before I start: It’s not gorey at all. It’s just graphic in a sex term, like rape abuse drug shit.

Story: 8/7
If you read this manga fully knowing what you’re getting into, it’s actually pretty good. The pacing is good and it’s coherent. The manga emphasizes on REVENGE FANTASY. MC literally drags his other party members to do revenge and rapes literally almost every one of his main female enemies. Even genderbent a dude just so that he’d get gangraped by people, while MC lit them all on fire. This is ‘great stuff’ as a hentai. The world is actually quite interesting, it doesn’t have the stupid guild and quest shit, and actually dives deep into the lore which is really surprising LOL. Full blast on warning though, if you treat this manga as a hentai, this shit is magical. BUT, once you treat it like an official shounen? manga, it’s fucking BAD. None of the characters are good people except for Setsuna, Blade, Iblis, and other side characters. MC, Freya, Norn, etc are fucking evil. It’s kind of refreshing to see straight up evil shits doing actually evil shit while putting on a facade of being good, but it get’s a bit repetitive as the story goes on when MC just beats the bad guys. Don’t get me wrong, a healer being OP is just straight up fantasy BUT very interesting. A lot of the powers is actually fresh and new in my opinion, and honestly, if there wasn’t any rape or revenge plot, I still think the story would be good or even better. But alas, we have an evil MC which is fresh to see. This story would be a 10/9 if it was a typical shounen story BUT the MC was evil and didn’t include a lot of rape.
Shit that personally turns me off: rape, incest, and practically any other hentai tag lol. Don’t get me wrong, mind control is cool when you turn a good person into an evil person because of angst reason, but everything in this story is just typical hentai fantasy play except for abuse which the MC mostly experienced.

Not a big fan of the art style but it’s okay and cute.

Character: 7
Everyone is just evil except for the ones I mentioned earlier. Recent chapters near 30’s show MC growing soft for his past enemies turned toys/sexslaves. The party bonding is cute which is kinda sad because Freya literally abused MC. Shit gets even worse when you realize he started getting abused and raped at 14, yikes man. Characters are still interesting though since we don’t get much literal evil characters. Some raped were ‘justified’ but not with Norn because she didn’t even rape/abuse MC also because she’s mad young. It’s cute seeing Freya and Norn interact with each other when they lost their memories and act like sisters again, but it’s depressing knowing both of them hated/feared each other and super fucking crazy @.@

I give it a 5 because 1) It doesn’t market itself as a hentai 2) It’s REVENGE FANTASY(I’m a pacifist in real life and dislike revenge. I hate confrontation and prefer to appease people and stay in good terms) 3) It’s still rather interesting and a refreshing read. I like how fucked up it is but I get mad concerned when there are real people who actually sympathize and SUPPORT MC’s rapes and shit 🙃 . Anyways, it missed its potential as being one of the best hentais ever, so that’s a shame.

Definitely not for everyone. If you want a main character that is arguably a "good person" or you have a problem with rape being portrayed, move along, this one isn't for you. On the other end, if you're looking for over the top gore, this one peaks on that front after the first chapter. but if you're like me and just enjoy watching an over the top chaotic evil character with OP powers get sadistic revenge against the people who wronged him and building a thematically appropriate harem in the process, welcome! I have no idea how this got approved for an anime, but when it drops you can bet I'll be watching it, and eating popcorn seasoned with the tears of the people who will inevitably hate it.

This majestic abomination known as Redo of a Healer will be heralded as the Twitter communities’ Covid19 equal. This is about as wholesome of a LN as it gets while running Olympic laps around what could have been hentai. Interspecies Reviewers has nothing on the story of this honorable crack addict Batman prodigy.

Have you ever thought to yourself,” I wish there existed an uncensored version to Rising of a Shield Hero.” Well look no further! as we follow the adventures of 2.0 Naofumi’s rise to what a true hero should aspire to be. I know many felt deeply betrayed when Malty didn’t catch Naofumi’s hands on the chopping block. Luckily this year she’s reincarnated as the same lovable princess we’ve all come to treasure. Nothing will stop 2.0 Naofumi’s crusade to being the #1 Thot slayer in this new journey. I mean how can you not want to become what you were destined for? This man in his new quest is given the godly healing alchemy to restore or even better..ENHANCE his best qualities ;).

Now I get some people may ask,”Isn’t this a downgraded version of our beloved hero? How is going from immovable object that is the SHIELD hero to why do I need a healer when I’ve got elixirs?” I’d be lying if I said I didn’t type in any game I’ve ever played where someone insta locks healer “GG NEXT!” Well this reinvigorated mad lad plays healer, damage and tank because everyone knows everyone but you is trash. It’s just the golden unspoken rule in any sort of party system. If you can’t carry, get good. I don’t know about you, but this man sounds like the granddaddy carry I’d want with me. Of course nothing comes free so it’s times like these after his hard fought battles when he see him truly “rise” and get back what was rightfully owed. After all, 2.0 Naofumi be pimpin.

“This has got to be some trash Harem show right?” Not even! Well, kinda. While everyone starts lining up for pound town, he never sees the thots as more than tools and as such pays no creed. Only those truly worthy such as the royal family as bestowed his Crown Jewels. This isn’t the story of a simp. We’re talking about someone who has the deceitfulness of Kazuma while maintaining the sheer palpable vigor of Naofumi. And maybe a sprinkle of Rance if you’re a veteran degenerate and know what I mean. Upon our hero’s second reincarnation he was gifted the power to look at you and DDos you on the spot. This easily allows him to discern the world as he sees fit. Most importantly this insures he will never fall into the clutches of the infamous trap.

IMO this will be the pinnacle of Isekai. You can’t get any better than a story where your own love nectar can increase the level caps of those around you. You get the Naofumi done right story. Although the one downside is this is possibly considered a light hentai, but there’s no NTR or ugly bastard so it’s a win-win right?

Just a forewarning: This is a spur of the moment review. I woke up and just thought I had to write this review, so it's unorganized like hell. It's not the best, but please take it somewhat seriously. Also, why does this not have a harem tag?

I am okay with dark fantasy. I am okay with story rape. I am okay with overpowered protagonists. I just think this author could've done it better.

To me, this just feels like an author's rape/power fantasy off of wattpad or similar. The story in the beginning of volume 1 felt great, a great premise, but what came after was full of terrible ideas and bad (Not horrible. Bad.) writing.

My first gripe was about his powers. He receives "Jade Eyes" which lets him see the stats of everyone without a power. He received it because he "knew" when and where a spirit would appear that would give it to him, which just so happened to be 5 days before he was taken away. Yeah it's an okay power, not OP, but couldn't there have been a better way for him to get it?

He then went on to showcase his healing magic, receiving trauma from the memories he consumed from those he healed. That's actually a nice point. So far, the only good part of his powers that actually fit his HEALING role.

Afterwards he got powers that could literally transform his body, rearrange his skill points, take powers and EXP from others, change magical items attributes, one hit KO people... Tell me, how is this a healing mage? Yes he's a hero as well, but this still far exceeds a "healing" mage.

Another part is the overuse of rape. Yeah, it's part of the story and all that, but it still could be toned down more. It felt like an erotic novel I was reading. Females and males are given power by heros by drinking their bodily fluids, most notably cum. The MC was raped over 5+ times in the first 50 pages. He then escaped due to some OP magic, raped a princess, and basically made her his sex slave. Afterwards, escaping to another city he bought a slave that was a beast girl. A. 12. Year. Old. He then proceeded to have sex with her so she could gain power.

Afterthought:
As I said, this is a glorified rape fantasy. I was actually pretty excited to start reading it but my expectations were shot down and I did not enjoy it. I may read farther at a later date, but I most likely will not.

I suggest avoiding this light novel at all costs as to not waste your time. There are way better light novels you can spend your time on, that have actually great stories. I suggest Mushoku Tensei.

It's bad, and I'm not saying that because "it's too gory" or "the MC is a scumbag", because that what makes me tried the series in the first place, I love gore and if the mc is an asshole that's even better.

But here it's really tame and more importantly really cliché, if you remove the kinda gory part at the beginning it's your average isekai vengeance title: where the mc found out after a near-death experience (or death) that he is in fact really powerful and go on a journey to create his harem of girl from perfectly good but oppressed peoples or species, and maybe taking revenge one day.
Did I say isekai... and it's not one? Yeah I know that, but that story is so badly written when it comes to characters that the MC feel like an isekai MC without being one, he has no connection to his world, his moral standpoint and culture are totally different from his world and are basically those of your average real-life modern man but slightly more violent. It wouldn't be a problem if it was an isekai MC but here it makes no sense for the MC to be that different from other of his world since no reasons are given.

Overall it's a poor man Nidome no Yuusha, the 2 have a really similar premise and a lot of similarities, it's just that kaifuku removes all the points that make Nidome original and interesting.
So we're just left with a cliché story about an op MC in an otherworld, with blend characters, nearly no story, and the acme of stupidity for a story which tries to pass as edgy and gore: it's ultra manicheic with the MC being overall a good guy with a rough exterior. Oh and the power are also annoyingly never really used at full power because otherwise there's no story.

Well if it wasn't clear enough, don't waste your time. If you want a good revenge story try "Nidome no Yuusha" which is really similar but good or "The girl who ate a death god" if you want a great revenge story with a ruthless protagonist and some gore. And if you just want blood and destruction then look at Last and first idol (beware of: cannibalism, genetic manipulation, genocide, and just a lot of body horror in general, also yuri).

I feel like I'm reading Onision's fantasy where he gets back at all the people who made fun of him for failing at Airforce Basic Training.

It feels like a self insert rape fantasy where the writer is trying to justify everything the protagonist does because he was treated as a slave. The dude deadass brainwashes a girl and turns her into his sex slave.

HE FUCKING DEADASS CALLS HIS PARTY MEMBERS HIS "Toys." AND FOR THEM TO FUCKING POWER UP THEY HAVE TO TAKE THE MC'S COOM TO LEVEL UP.

I feel so uncomfortable when I'm reading this, what the fuck is this self insert loser bullshit.
