Resumo
On a day like any other, Shouta Amano plans to confess his feelings to his crush, Koharu Saeki. However, he receives a strange text about something called the "Friends-Eater Game," informing him that he has a "healthy status" and that his antidote is someone's fingers.

He assumes it is just a prank, but later discovers that his entire class received the same message, including Koharu. Later, Koharu calls him to the roof, and she reveals that her message was a bit different than the rest: she has an "infected status"—and her antidote is Shouta's fingers. The two of them brush off this strange development, and Shouta uses the moment to confess to her... only to have her die brutally in front of him a few seconds later.

Realizing that Koharu's death was caused by not heeding the orders of the message, Shouta and his classmates must play the Friends-Eater Game and follow every horrifying command within the time limit, or face a gruesome death.

Tomogui Kyoshitsu is... bad. I was looking for another word to describe it but that's the only thing I think of when remembering how reading this manga felt like.

The story? Nonsensical, cliched for the genre (what is up with the 'king's game'-like manga, anyway?) and absolutely disgusting. This is coming from someone who enjoys gore. I'm trying not to spoil it much, but there was NO NEED whatsoever for certain things to happen to the female characters. It wasn't done in a decent or meaningul manner and was clearly there to shock the reader and attempt to make the manga seem darker than it already is.

The pacing is dreadful and all over the place. One chapter the characters go around talking to each other about nothing and in the next one so much happens that you can barely understand wtf is going on.

Art? It's okay. It seems like the poor artist who had to draw this mess didn't write the story at least. It was pretty average.

Characters? My god. They are awfully written and developed. The main lead has as much personality as a sack of potatoes, and guess what? For some reason everyone is in love with him! Almost every guy is a douchebag who may or may not end up sexually assaulting the female students and said girls' personality amounts to feeling jealously over one another or, you guessed it, liking a guy and thinking about said guy. That's what most of them amount to. Jesus christ.

My enjoyment was almost null if it wasn't for the fact that this is so, so bad, I had a bit of a laugh reading it. Who approved this? Which poor sods had to publish this? I felt sorry for them.

Overall, if you like enjoying things and having a good time reading manga, skip this immediately. If you're a poor soul who read this out of curiosity like me, then godspeed, my friend. Godspeed.

This is truly a manga that might disgust you a lot but you might still fall in love with this - as I did.

Story: For starters, the plot wasn't progressing well and it seemed like ehh everyone is just getting themselves killed. I mean everything was just a mess but there was something that got me to continue reading. And if I might say, it was really a good decision! As the story goes on, there's more development. Characters started to find the reasons behind everything and that way the reader too got more information which is why you can't just stop reading this in the midway!!

Art: The art is truly fantastic!! It supports the plot perfectly and makes the best versions of the characters. However, there are also some parts I might wouldn't want this art to show like there are a bit too nasty moments which make you feel like you're about to puke.

Characters: To be honest, there's way too many characters. But the development between certain characters is just amazing! It doesn't happen in the beginning but bit by bit they're getting better. On top of that there's also more information coming from the characters' backgrounds which helps the story to go on.

Enjoyment: I hate this manga, yet I love it. I guess you get what I mean? It's the kind of manga you just have to read, it disappoints you, it gets your hopes up, it gets you scared, it makes you angry. This gives the reader so many different feelings that it's definitely worth a try!

Let me start off by saying this manga is not for everyone. There are so many things this manga has:
-R*pe
-P*dophilia
-Lots of death
-All around carnage

My full rating for this a solid 9/10

The first chapter starts off as any other survival game horror manga would. Nothing thrown at you, YET. As the plot progresses in the first chapter, we meet our first game and first death. Now this method of death was insane. By far it was the most unique death I have seen in horror lately. It blew my mind.

The story progresses at a nice pace. While it isn't the most perfect one, it is very consistent. The game doesn't derail. The story doesn't automatically shift into this whole spectacle about the villain and who's to blame. The one thing that does change it is the last chapters where the last few survivors face against this new threat.

What the story does is continue off each chapter like a flowing river. There are no real hang ups. Each character gets a back story (not all, but once you read it, you'll understand). Then, at the end, the true mastermind is not what or who you expect. The one thing I truthfully can confirm is that the deaths truly pack a punch. Some are shocking, while some are more.. well deserved.

All in all, this is one manga that you should read if you can stomach dark themes.

Pros:
-Interesting characters/minor development
-No shortage of pulled punches
it's not the game you think it will be
-The art is pretty nice

Cons:
-The story kind of goes to sh*t in the last few chapters (except the last one)
-Characters feel bland at times
-The new threat felt too rushed and brought in way too late
-The explanation for certain things can be... annoying
-Definitely not the story for you if you can't handle dark themes
