Shizu Karasawa

Shizu is the female protagonist of the manga. She is the only child of Tetsu's wealthy employers who lives on an estate on the hill and is secreted away, where she is forbidden from leaving her house. This is because she is claimed to have dissociative identity disorder.


It is later revealed that Shizu is actually prone to possession by spirits of the dead. She has four spirits that protect her body, named Shinobu Karasawa; her great-grandfather; Harumichi, an athletic man in his 30s; Mirei, boy-crazy ghost who loves fashion; and Kanato, a boy who passed away at a young age.
