One Piece review
Eiichiro Oda surprised me with a great series. It starts getting better even from the very beggining, just after the three first (and tinier) arcs. The story, after the first three villains, tends to get more complex, intelligent and well-written.

Even though most of the characters is crazy, their personalities are built around a great story that surprises by the level of complexity in a shonen. It's not like it's difficult to understand it (as it is made for teenagers and focused on pure entertainment), but yet by some parts of the plot and specially by the questions section, (where the readers ask what they want to the writer), we can notice how the author has a great knowledge of science and history, which greatly enriches the quality of the work.

That can be easily perceived by some commentaries of Oda about the weapons of the time, the story of the real pirates, and even scientific explanation of real and fictional phenomena during the series. And that doesn't nullify the great humorous ability of the writer in several comical situations.

Also does very good in emotive/sensitive parts. Passes in a very good way the feelings of the characters. Can easily make yiu feel truly sorry for a character that is suffering, want to kill some other, and cry with the third one, and scream with happinesswith a fourth.

The art is different than those from many other manga, but it's very funny sometimes and very serious some other times. Expressions always translate well the characters mood, form angry to sadness, form joy to depression.

It's a must watch for fans of a good comedy, well elaborated stories and action manga. One of the best shonen ever made.

Vagabond review
What can I say about Vagabond to explain it's greatness. I can say with complete certainty that this manga can be compared to masterpieces like the Mona Lisa. Before you start wondering why I say this, I will explain when I talk about the art.

Story

This manga is based on the masterpiece by Eiji Yoshikawa, about the life of the Japanese Sword saint Musashi Miyamoto a.k.a Shinmen Takezo who is the creater of the Niten Ichi-ryū (二天一流) in which you use your Katana and Wakizashi ( the short sword ). Whether all the things that are inscribed in this book are real or exaggerated, no one can tell, but this work shows you how important honor, being able to use a sword, and be the best is. The story in Vagabond is very deep, so probably not everyone will enjoy it to the fullest at the first read.

Art

Now we go to the part that has me completely Mesmerized. Takehiko Inoue is known as a mangaka who really puts everything into his art, but BY GOD, in Vagabond you are completely engulfed from the first couple of pages. You can really see what the characters feel, just by looking at their eyes and expression. People say that the eyes are the window to the soul, and damn they were right. The color pallet in this manga is exceptional, and how he uses I believe brushes for the color pages is insane. The designs of the characters are great, you can see in every panel their emotional state, which is not an easy thing to do and not everyone can do such a great job of it, only with pictures. So yeah, that's what I meant about it being close the Mona Lisa, because for me, and not only me, it has the best artwork in manga history.

Character

This manga is mostly about the character growth of the main characters, and if you read it from the start and get to where the manga is, you will be completely shocked at the growth of our main character Musashi due to the circumstances he has gotten himself into. There a lot of philosophical debates and question throuhout this masterpiece, and the most recurring one is the question of Being the best under heavens and what does it mean in reality, how do the people interpret this phrase. It is stunning to say the least how these questions are answered through certain events.

Enjoyment

I honestly can't get enough of this manga. The first thing that caught my eye was the Art, but when you get into the story as well, you have a lot of great time ahead of you by reading this. It is so deep, that probably some chapters would have to be read a lot more times than just once in order the grasp the complete meaning of the things that traspire and that are said.

Overall

Vagabond is a once in a lifetime experience. It makes you respect the people in it a lot, and the important thing is that these people really existed, whether the things in this manga happened for real or are exaggerated I don't know, but either way it is one hell of a masterpiece.

Fullmetal Alchemist review
Fullmetal Alchemist is one of the most meaningful mangas a person could ever read. Its purpose isn't just to tell some kind of cliché, boring story. It changes your way of thinking and your view about the things in life.

The plot doesn't seem that interesting at first, but as you read more and more, you find that there is a lot more depth to it. And as a person, who doesn't get surprised that easily, who expects that "things will turn out this way" from reading only half of the manga, I must say, that the author really surprised me many times.

The author is someone I really admire. Really original and a true professional. When I was almost at the end of the series, I realised something: things, that had happened more than 40 chapters earlier, now seemed to make sense. Like the author knew how it would all end, even when she was only the middle of the story. And she really has a way with words.(I have a MS Word document with 8 pages full of quotes :D)

The art is something I really liked. And the way some of the characters change, not drastically, with the passing of time, is really admireable. The art is a really big part of the manga (obviously) and even if the story is great but the art is bad, it would make the whole experience less enjoyable.

The enjoyment. What really appeals is that there are a lot of funny moments in a serious and deep manga like this. Even in very very serious situations, there is still made room for jokes :D.

If you are not sure wether to read Fullmetal Alchemist, I highly recommend you do. You won't regret it and you may learn a lot of things, which can be very useful.

Ore no Yome wa Aitsu no Tsuma review
My Bride is His Wife has a lot of good ideas, but the execution of both the plot and characterization are poor throughout.

It begins as a reverse harem: two best friends agree to alternate being married (they each live with her one month at a time) to a woman that they both love. The protagonist has always looked up to the other man; never as smart, popular, wealthy, or successful.

The manga doesn't really dwell on how they get into this relationship. Instead, it wants to be a thoughtful examination of the interaction between love, marriage, and fidelity--and to what extent any of those can exist without the other two. Besides his own experience in this odd relationship, the protagonist encounters a variety of other marriages, all of which have their own quirks or dark sides.

But the manga has three big problems:

First, the central love triangle is never firmly established. Characters assert that they are in love with each other, but you never really see it. The manga really needed to spend more time developing each relationship as a pair--both the relationships with the woman, and the friends' relationships with each other.

Second, the plot moves at lightning speed. Clearly the manga was axed--the last chapter covers easily a volume worth of plot. But even before then, the author just jerks you around. In one chapter a character is revealed to be seriously ill. In the next, the protagonist finds out about it. In the next, the problem is solved. What should have been a major plot of the whole manga is wrapped up in a neat little bow with very little consequence in less than a volume.

Third, the major plot of the second volume is about a third man who enters the scene, for no apparent reason. The character adds nothing to the themes and only makes you think less of the woman.

A mangaka with more experience writing Seinen romantic drama could have made an interesting story out of the premise and themes. But, as it is, this manga is best avoided.

Guild no Cheat na Uketsukejou review
I don't think the story is bad. But i feel it fails in what it's trying to do.

The story is about an OP Elf that is hiding her identity at a Guild. While the story seems to want to be about the MC working behind the scenes. It fails. Nothing of interest really happens and i most of the time am wanting to see a story about our MC's adventure from being reincarnated.

Honestly we are told all these interesting things such as her defeating an Evil God, Befriending the Dragon God and even befriending the Mermaids. But instead of hearing about her adventures, We get these boring scenes with her never ever really leaving the guild.

We are told that this worlds parents abandoned her and was driven out of the Elf village for her powers. I would love to see a story telling the adventures of the girl having to deal with being abandoned and having to make a living for herself. Story would be about her becoming OP as she travels the world. Once the Elf kingdom or village or whatever learns about her power and her position with humans. They then want her back and to marry her off to someone. Kind of like how it happened in the actual story but have it more expanded on.

Honestly, There isn't any need for the MC to be a former male. It changes nothing besides the MC being attracted to females still. The story could've easily have had the MC always of been a girl even before she was reincarnated and it wouldn't change anything. The story could even not have any reincarnating in it and have it just be about an OP female Elf growing up ( Obviously keep in the Yuri...)

The story kind of teases it on and off but i wish it would either pick whether the MC will have a romance partner or not. I just want her to pick any of the girls in this already. Kind of annoying how it's strung along

Overall not a bad story but it does have some glaring issues.

A simple and easy to ready manga deserves a quick and easy review, yes? Anywho, the story revolves around high school gamer Motoba Hitachi and how he leads a boring uneventful life playing 2d video games. It wasn't until his "Notice me sempai im secretly crushing on you!" underclassman Miu invites him to a real life-like simulation of a game in a castle. Doesn't sound so bad, right? Things go from good to bad to even worse than bad when they realize the castle really isnt a castle, it's a fortress-like prision. And the life-like simulation of a game? Well it's as real as it gets! Now Hitachi, Miu and a mysterious person by the name of Mimori must transverse through the castle and find the way out before they fall victims to the horrors inside the castle.

Honestly the story starts out pretty good and then it moves into cliche shounen protagonist-must-save-the-princess-who-coincidentally-gets-herself-captured-and- is-now-somewhere-inside-the-castle kind of story. If that isnt enough to make you save your precious time reading this manga, get this: the manga is only 15 FREAKING CHAPTERS. Now you think a nice setting and story would warrant more than just 15 chapters but nooooooo.

In summary, it has a pretty good start, decent characters and plot pretty similar to what is now known as the popular SAO but rapidly falls flat on its face due to the chapters getting released at an agonizing slow pace, not to mention the fact it had the potential to be one of many popular ongoing series to day but sadly the story, plot and possible character arcs end in just 15 chapters. Sorry to say but this is one of those titles you're going to read and feel angry at yourself for wasting your own time reading it. Satisfactory at best.

This is my first time writing a "review" So sorry if it sounds slopy, & i'll try not to write any spoilers.

I enjoyed this managa a lot! I will defintly be re reading this one. (Once I forget the ending)

The story plot was very thought of & pland out. Not rushed. Normaly I can pradict if some thing is going to happen as read too much ^.^
But this one just kept me on edge wanting to know more & more. Wasn't easy to read into the next move there for I couldnt geuse. Which made it more exciting to read.

Souko is a troubled girl & dosn't like to show it. On the surface she is just like anyone. But deep down she has a dark secret. (You'll learn this soon enough or get a good hint at what it is in first chap.)

She wants to forget. Doesn't want to up set anyone ells. All people do is get hurt & cry all around her. All beacuse of her past.
After a talk with her friend decides to date this guy (Hiroto) to maybe forget her past...but as things progress with him the urge to tell him her secret is bubbling up with in her.
Things spril out of control not in a bad way just that things are moving fast and sudden.
When it comes to meeting people she did NOT expect to see the un expected.

If your emotional this will tug at your heart strings and you'll be exzorbed into the hole thing. If like me you'll cry at some things. ^.^

Hope I was helpful. Sorry about sp-E. (spelling Errors)
Please read this manga!! You will like it!
Thank you.
