Monster review
Naoki Urasawa is one of the modern greats of manga. This is not an arguable statement. Everything he writes is intriguing, entertaining, and suspenseful. All of Urasawa’s work that I have read feels like a natural evolution of Tezuka’s seinen stories, and Monster is no exception.
Monster follows Dr. Kenzo Tenma, a gifted Japanese brain surgeon living in Germany, as he flees from the police and attempts to find Johan and fix the mistake he had made years prior when he saved Johan’s life on the operating table. This plunges him into a world of mystery, political intrigue, and murder. The book forces the reader to ask themselves several questions. What if the right thing to do isn’t always the right thing to do? What makes a person a monster? What does it mean to be wanted or unwanted, and how does that affect a child? All this and more as the story unravels and more questions are asked and answered.
The story itself is told extraordinarily well. The pace is excellent, with very few lulls in story and natural breaks where they need to be. It is tightly woven, with no noticeable plot holes and plenty of foreshadowing and metaphor. The resolution is satisfying, putting each character where they should be in a believable way, while not leaving me hungry for more. As always, Urasawa’s art is gorgeous. The amount of facial expression he is able to get onto each character all while keeping each distinct is astounding. Urasawa is one of few mangaka I know of who can draw a face so simply but so accurately that I have absolutely no question as to the person’s ethnic background. Japanese characters look Japanese, German characters look German, Turkish characters look Turkish, etc.
Although I preferred 20th Century Boys, the only other lengthy Urasawa manga I have read, to Monster, it is an excellent book and is one of the stories that truly lets the art form shine. There are some similarities between the two works, common elements and Urasawa’s particular style of storytelling and withholding of information, but this is to be expected. Monster will draw you in and make you read all 162 chapters as fast as you possibly can.

Uchuu Kyoudai review
It's never too late to reach your dreams, that's what you can learn from this manga.
Uchuu Kyodai is one of the few mangas that can motivate my live, read this is more like reading graphic biography than reading manga.

The story tell us about an older brother named Nanba Mutta who want to become an astronout to follow his younger brother path, Nanba Hibito. I think the synopsis was enough to describe the main plot. The story develops every new characters are introduced but still focus on Mutta reaching his dream.

Like my word before, this is more like biography than manga because the characters more like real person than fictional character. Our older brother Mutta is 31 years old in first chapter while the other stories have main character in his/her teenage. Same with the other character that their age, jobs, and background is like real person. The environment seems real too even make me thing maybe the mangaka is real japanese astronout.

I think the strongest part of this manga is the story itself, the best mood builder. It can make me laugh, smile, and sad (but not cry). I can feel Mutta's feeling for his brother between happy and envy at the same time or I can feel his feeling when his path is closer to the space little by little. This is why this manga can motivate my live.

Conclusion : I recommend Uchuu Kyodai to everyone who loved realistic story, have a dream, a man who have younger brother, and (maybe) want to become astronout. There is no bad thing to try this, maybe you want to watch the anime first is okay too since it already covers many chapters, read or watch and feel it yourself.

The Horizon review
(No Spoilers)
-translated by Google translator
The Horizon is a Korean work launched in 2016 by Jeong, Ji-Hoon, tells the dramatic story of two children who in the midst of a war, pandemic, world disaster, try to survive and move on.

History 8/10- A simple, yet immersive, heavy and tragic story, brings to the reader several philosophies about humanity, succession etc ... (although sometimes the work does this in an expository way) How a good drama is full of scenes beyond emotions, but they could be better if the work was longer, in such a short time it’s difficult to get so attached to the characters, which would be essential for a drama

Art 10/10- Art expresses well what it wants, pain, joy, fear, disgust and so on, it is simply beautiful what the author does, makes the work even more emotional, in fact a spectacle in that respect.

Characters 6.5 / 10- As said before, this is a fundamental issue for the genre, as the work is short, it becomes more difficult to get attached to them, if not, I would say it would be even heavier, beautiful and exciting, but of course, not that the characters are bad, the relationship between the two principals is beautiful, both have their sad stories

Overall 8/10- With its immersive and philosophical history and beautiful art, I recommend this manhwa to everyone, especially for fans of apocalyptic and dramatic works, it is possibly one of the best in South Korea.

ZANNEN NAGARA CHIGAIMASU review
And today's romance tip of the day is, "Don't rush into things!" I mean, if you're going to fall in love with someone, you should at least take the time to get to know them before deciding that you want to be with them for the rest of your life. Unfortunately, some people don't even seem to realize this simple fact, as a specific one-shot manga demonstrates. To be perfectly honest, I only read this one-shot in the first place because of how low of a score it has on MAL; it's the second-lowest-rated manga on MAL, as a matter of fact, right above the manga adaptation of "High School Musical"! It felt like the obvious choice was to read it and see how bad it was (also demonstrating how much I tend to make bad decisions)....and holy crud, do I have some things to say about it now that I have!

Ladies and gentlemen, please pay attention as I explain how "Zannen nagara Chigaimasu" teaches us about the pacing of relationships.

One day, while going up an escalator, a girl has a "chance encounter" with a guy who tells her to meet him at the top of the escalator. (I honestly can't remember either of their names, which is actually kind of funny for reasons that I will explain later.) When they do meet up, it turns out that the girl is still in high school while the guy is 29, meaning that they're over a decade apart in age; however, from this encounter alone, the two come to the conclusion that they can't be without each other. Thus, they fill out a marriage application, but get this; they don't even know each other's names before they decide to get married! (Now you know why it's funny that I can't remember their names. Haha.) Then, they kiss, and it's implied that they have sex. The end.

I'm sorry, but it's really hard to take a plot like this seriously. I mean, they literally just met each other and took no time to get to know each other, and then, bada-bing bada-boom, they're getting married? These two skipped so many crucial steps in making a relationship work that it's kind of hard NOT to make fun of it! Because of this, I don't hate the story as much as I could be hating it, but there's no excusing how rushed this one-shot is, whether it's the story or the relationship. I know that the manga artist only had a few pages to tell a one-chapter story, but couldn't a FEW of those pages been used to allow them to get to know each other better instead of the whole "I have to be with you forever even though I literally just met you" crap?

Ironically, not only does the couple not take the time to get to know each other, we, the readers, barely get to know either of the two characters other than their ages and their feelings for each other; heck, we barely get to know their names! As a result of this lack of characterization, I found myself not caring about either character. What's worse, however, is their chemistry; I feel no sparks between them, and they don't look like their "marriage" is going to work out in the long run. Speaking of looks, although the artwork is the best part of the whole manga, it's not by much; although it's mostly just standard shoujo manga artwork, there are some moments, the escalator scene in particular, where the proportions and angles look kind of off. Really, Kotomi Aoki? You've worked on plenty of shoujo manga before this one; shouldn't your art have improved from all of that experience?

If Houkago no Shokuinshitsu is the short anime you should watch only if you're in the mood for making fun of something, then Zannen nagara Chigaimasu is the short manga you should read for that same purpose; one may be yaoi while the other is hetero, but both of them are "love stories" you can't take seriously about couples with zero chemistry. With that being said, go ahead and read Zannen nagara Chigaimasu if that's your agenda, but otherwise, stay as far away from it as possible. After all, if you're going to expect a manga about a couple getting married without even knowing each other's names to actually be good, not only will you be disappointed, but you will be questioning everything you have ever known about the pacing of relationships.

Wonderland review
Wonderland is a manga I came across while browsing a bookstore. I am blow away how so few people have read Wonderland. As a big fan of Alice and Wonderland themes this manga was one I needed to pick up.

Story (6)
I am not going to say the story is amazing, or even that it is good. The plot is interesting, although I think there was a lot more that could be done with the plot. A town shrinks, turns out when you are the size of a polly pocket many animals can eat you. Birds, cats, snakes, etc. Can they find a way to turn back? Also magic abilities that do CRAZY things! Shrink people ability? wow, cool i guess.

Art(9)
I won't say it's for everyone, but for me the art is up my alley. It has a beautiful dark and fantasy like style, which goes well with the story. The line work is pretty good, same with shading.

Characters (8)
Our characters are basically constantly changing besides our two heroines. Some characters are hits, some are misses. I like the main characters, and some side characters work well. Alice the silent would be more interesting if she talked more, but maybe that's just me.

Enjoyment (8)
I loved it. It was a ride, it was a thrill, and there were like 1 or 2 twists. I loved looking at the art, I loved seeing where the story would take me. It is not something for everyone, but those who are interested should try it.

Iron Knight review
Today I will present manga (Iron Knight) written and illustrated by Tomohiro Yagi, the first release was on December 5 2013. Tomohiro just entered into the world of manga but he has long been known in the art, 2012 he was awarded the Golden Future Cup for Goblin Night and One Shot manga he created.

The story revolves around a young boy named Teppei Ushizume (and full on the words "Iron Soldier"). Although he does not live with his parents, because his mother died and his father has to be away from home for long periods of time because of his job, he stays with Tsubasa Himegami, a very close friend of his and her family until his father returns. Unlike other children, his body is hard as steel.
But the quiet life begins to change when more people appear to have a goblin virus. The virus changes people and turns them into a monster that attacks all around, but it seems that the majority of infected are criminals. Although caring boy, he ends up infected, but unlike the others, he can control himself and use his newfound powers to fight evil goblins. In a short time he encounters battles with groups of goblins, inexperienced he slowly learne their skills and capabilities. While moving through his hometown, he sees the destruction goblins made and it gives him a reason to defend people.

Throughout the work one can get a feel of the weight of emotions, on the other hand it calls the animal in us to go out and act as justice. The illustration is good and shows a lot of detail in the battles, as an artist, Tomohiro uses more free art features than the expressive detail.

As for the story, is popular but still would like to emphasize that somewhat resembles the modern epic stories such as Iron Man, but still described in the spirit of the Japanese tradition. As recently dabbled in the world of manga, I expect and hope to see soon more work from his workshop.
