Uwa-Koi review
First of all I write this to say I did enjoy School Days. It got 8/10 from me. The drama and plot twist in the anime were pretty interesting.

However, Uwakoi might as well be called "The Shitter Version of School Days." I honestly can not think of a single good thing about this manga.
Yes, I officially only read five chapters, but after that I skipped around slightly to see if this manga would prove to be what I thought it was. School Days.
School Days might be infamous for its little shitboy, Makoto, but personally I feel like Yukiteru of Uwakoi was worse.
Also the drama was a literal pile of shit. I thought maybe my eyesight was going bad, got me prescribed a pair of glasses. Nope, still a brown gooey pile of shit.

So heres the story. The entire story:
Guy likes this one girl, but acts like a couple with this other girl. Guy doesnt like the other girl but doesnt want to hurt her feelings. So he decides that he will be with the other girl in secret... and she knows about it and is way too okay with this. LIKE LOL OKAY!!!!
So their love triange goes on a bit like this, and we are introduced to several more girls, all of whom will have sex with our MC in some way or another.
Actual wtf from this anime... I aint even going to grade this, just saying its shit. The story is literally guy has sex with these girls. The end. Go home.

It is NOT romantic, cute, or even dramatic! From what I could tell when I left off, it was basically a plotless, tasteless hentai manga. Yep, I noped that crap right out of there. Bye bye.

If you dont want to waste your time but still want to read this manga, go shit in the toilet and stare at that for a couple minutes. It'll give the same effect.

Angel/Dust review
Angel Dust is a fine example of short and sweet. This happens to be a manga I read a couple years ago, and somehow forgot over the years. Having accidentally stumbled on it again, and re-reading it, I am really starting to wonder how it was I ever managed to completely forget it in the first place!

Story; 8. There's a quasi Fate/Stay Night fantasy plot here, minus any male characters and with pretty blatant yuri undertones. And, as iffy as that looks on paper, it actually works fairly well for what it is. While not terribly original, the plot delivers enough solid material to keep you entertained from the start to the finish. The girl-girl romantic undertones are handled thankfully in a cute, classy completely non-sexual way that I haven't seen since I watched Candy Boy. The relationship between the two leading ladies is executed with class, and I actually appreciated this quite a bit.

Art; 9. I think manga art is tough to rate, because you either like the style a series is put out in or you don't. Although there are some irrefutable "quality" standards like production flaws and whatnot, but a lot of manga has a distinct look about it depending on who drew it. And in the case of Angel Dust, I actually wouldn't say it is a stretch to call this the most visually enjoyable manga I've read since Take On Me. Aoi Nanase draws very nice, cute characters here and there are no glaring visual flaws to speak of. Yuina is adorable, and quite likeable given the small amount of time they are given to flesh her out. Seraph is a good match too, and Akiho reminded me of Rin. This is a good thing, mind you.

Character; 9. I've already started to delve into the characters, who are developed as best as they can be in a single volume. Though they would have flourished with more time to develop, what is given to us more than tells the story. Each character has their own motivations, and resolution, all in this single volume. Characters really made this, in my opinion.

Enjoyment/Overall; 9. I am very glad to have found this again, because I really haven't seen much "classy" yuri around in manga or anime. It's all a bit more sexual (I'm looking at you, Strawberry Panic...) and to be honest, sometimes I just want a cute little forbidden love story. And in that respect, Angel Dust delivers with quality characters and quality art to boot. Can't go wrong there!

Ex-Arm review
I decided to check out and read all the translated chapters for the Ex-Arm manga shortly after watching the first episode of the brand new, yet already infamous anime adaptation and to put it shortly, I was pleasantly surprised with how my experience with it turned out.

The story is pretty simple and easy to keep up with as it mainly follows the 3 main characters (Akira, Minami and Alma) through a continuous well-paced story which without a doubt, made it a lot more enjoyable. It does have a substantial quantity of ecchi/fanservice which could make it a difficult task for people to want to get into but subjectively, it didn't hinder or heavily subside any enjoyment towards the actual content presented. The use and pacing of the character introductions and plot points were one aspect of the story which I believe they nailed. Some series I've experienced in the past are guilty of introducing a daunting plethora of characters and plot points in a short-period of time which obviously isn't bad at times but it's something in literature that can come back and bite if it's not executed properly. With the possible exception of the first few chapters it usually doesn't go overboard when it comes to introducing characters and plot points, allowing the dialogue and introductions to have a natural feeling and pace to it. The entirety of the story as a whole was done quite well from a subjective standpoint and I never found myself getting bored or tired of what I was reading.

The Art is actually one of the biggest standouts in the manga and if not, it IS the main standout. The art was wonderful and when reading it there were never panels that conveyed a feeling of un-intentional confusion as in "wait what is going on??" or "yikes... this looks bad." every panel was well done and I strongly believe that the art is a perfect fit for the type of story presented and it really does an impressive job giving off the futuristic feeling that the narrative is trying to achieve. Character designs and action scenes are completely brought to life and the art does the best job possible to convey that. The one possible qualm with the art would be that in the earlier chapters it does rely on plain white backgrounds a little bit more than necessary but it improves immensely at a fast rate as the manga goes on.

The main characters in Ex-Arm may appear flat or uninteresting upon first appearance but as the story moves forward the three of them do get more likable. Rather than feeling flat they end up feeling like characters that actually have personalities and are quite entertaining to experience. I've only read all the translated chapters (17) so I'm unable to speak strongly about the side-characters but from what I've seen they do have lots of room to grow but thankfully I'm quite confident that they will. From what I've seen, antagonists are unfortunately lacking heavily in comparison to the main characters and possibly even the side characters in terms of almost everything from character design, dynamics with other individuals and memorability but I don't view them as poorly written or objectively bad by any means. The character designs are possibly my number one favorite aspect of the series because although there are a few exceptions such as some side-antagonists and even Akira, The main two female characters (Minami and Alma) have incredible and memorable character designs and the art style that the manga has allows the designs to pop out and shine in the most ideal way possible. Character dynamics and character interactions are another aspect that I believe was done quite well, especially among the main trio. As the story goes on it's presented quite clearly that the characters are growing as the story moves forward and it's also clear that HiRock (the author) has taken lots of time when it comes to making Ex-Arm's main trio get significantly more likable over time.

Enjoyment is usually always dependent on the individual, thus making it a very subjective topic especially with a series like Ex-arm where the manga is sometimes avoided due to the poor quality of it's more popular adaptation but personally, I would still recommend this manga even if you have a negative opinion prior to reading it because it could end up being a really surprising experience like it was for me.

Nanoha Yougashiten no Ii Shigoto review
*This review concerns the manga up to Chapter 11 and I’ll be making adjustments as the manga continues and if I feel my review lacks important elements.*

First of all: Welcome to the Nanoha Patisserie! The Western Sweet Shop where you will eat for nothing less than your salary!

Genres: Slice of Life / Comedy / Romance

Story: The story is pretty simple. It evolves around three brothers that take over the patisserie of their deceased parents. They are working in it to try and survive as they have to pay for all of their living expenses. But they will encounter many problems that will hinder the daily routine they would dream of.
Lot of comedy is to be expected as it seems to be the main focus of the manga. It is well brought into the scenes, even if some gags are pretty classics I haven’t felt anytime they were too much.

Art: the ones that have already red Kaminomi will know what to expect. I’m personally in love with his art style overall, the cute faces and the changing of styles depending of the scene.

Characters: Not much to say yet I guess. The three brothers have some elements of characters overall but nothing really fancy nonetheless. Secondary characters don’t stand out much so far. I guess it will be better in the next few chapters as I guess it’s the end of the introduction of the main secondary characters. Despite this, overall characters are cute and I hope to see more in the near future.

Overall rating: 8
I don’t really like rating something this early on but I can’t really give a review without it.
I guess it could easily be 7-8 /10 depending on the rest of the story. I doubt to see it go anywhere over an 8 for me as it lacks an important storyline or any character development so far. I see it more like a humorous slice of life manga with some romance elements. And it is still really great in the genre.

But take care though; do not think that because Kaminomi was excellent for you, this will have to suit you.

I hope to have helped anyone wondering if this is for them… And Have a nice day!
Here, Have a Thoughtful Moustache wondering if this is good => [B{

Higashi no Kurume to Tonari no Meguru review
This series isn't for everyone. If you're looking for some deep story progression, interesting plot twists, or drama, this is not for you. BUT, if you're just looking for a nice, standard romance with light conflict to enjoy, then it's highly recommended.

Story: 7
Very predictable if you've read a LOT of romance manga, but also at the same time not. While it's clear who the MC ends up with at the beginning, the leading up to it still leaves plenty of room for surprises, mostly pleasant ones. The conflicts introduced in this series is often quickly resolved, and usually with little effort, so you can rest assured it won't be some uphill battle (although that can be boring for some). The plot armor is real, but not overwhelming.

Art: 7
The art fits the "country life" theme of the series. The characters are distinct, the girls are relatively pretty-looking. Don't expect too much shading or background in this series. Don't expect characters' emotions to show very well either. While this worked in the beginning, it does detract from the enjoyment of this manga in the long run.

Character: 7
Typical characters, not really memorable. Not the fanservice stereotypes, but nothing special either. The leads are strong enough to push the story along rather than stagnating it, and the supporting characters perform their roles as "true" supports. Because of the pacing of the manga though, it did feel as if the characters were very manufactured for the explicit purpose of helping the romance along, rather than being standalone.

Enjoyment: 10
If it fits the bill, you will enjoy it. I was looking for a light-hearted romance, and it delivered, properly. The ending is said to be axed/rushed, but it ended well and conclusively, and won't leave you with a bitter aftertaste or wondering. It tied up some loose ends as well. All in all, a well-bundled manga, as long as you don't expect too much of it.

Overall: 9.1 - Better than many other romances that have a crappy story and crappy end.

Grey review
Grey is a manga with post-apocalyptic setting, which follows the life of our protagonist, Grey, after he joins the military. The manga vaguely portrays the current caste system the surviving world is based of, and mostly focuses on the missions of Grey, along with his fellow troopers.

The story of the manga has interesting takes, and the dystopian future which is presented to us is both exciting and terrifying, and the presented world can give us interesting ideas to contemplate about, but sadly the world building is not the main focus of the story, it's the actions that are the main point of interest. The missions of the soldiers are filled with action and detailed gunfights, but the strategic element is always persistent, giving the conflicts more grounded, and serious tone. The mangaka is mostly portraying the militaristic life on this world as a depressive, bleak existance, devoid of meaning and full of grief.

The art is very appealing, but it does matter if you enjoy reading older manga or watching older anime, the artstyle is distinctively from the 80's, but beside this point, it's very crisp and refined. Specific detail was given to the various vehicles and tanks, as well as an expressive character design.

In this manga, the characters are few and some of them have more of an episodic nature. The main character is motivated, as well as most of his reasons for his action are explained, making him entertaining character to follow, but beside that, not much of a character from him or the other supporting cast is displayed or shown, which is a letdown considering the well-crafted concept for the world and it's inhabitants.

Overally, this manga is quite the entertaining read, it is a throwback to the gritty and realistic sci-fi mecha series of the 80's, like Votoms and Southern Cross, but in the same time it has short, simple, nicely excecuted plot as well as entertaining military skirmishes.

ANNE FREAKS review
REVIEW: An earlier look into the lives and minds of a group of killers who hunt criminals, some disturbingly overzealous, others reluctant, by Kotegawa Yua.

IT ALMOST SEEMS A DRY RUN FOR HER LATER SEINEN MASTERPIECE "KIMI NO KNIFE". Weaker but similar art and familiar character profiles, using the now-familiar plot devices of guilt-driven hallucinations and love+circimstances forcing a mild-mannered, shy, guilt-wracked, and cowardly man onto the path of the reluctant killer... However, "Anne Freaks" is shorter, less mature and less coherent, with less detail less realism less believabilit and far less emotional impact, lacking its powerful mood-setting devices and strong introspectives...

SERIES DESCRIPTION:
10 years after a cult violently splinters into a small extremist terrorist core and a horrified majority of newly minted outcasts, many pursued or killed by their former comrades for their "betrayal", the cult leader's daughter Anne gathers her childhood friends, now teenagers, for her revenge - to end the cult once and for all...

The three live in hiding, Anne knowing the truth, and the two boys remembering nothing past being haunted by strange dreams. Anne, a hunted fugitive since age 6, is an embittered stone-cold outcast raised hiding among yakuza, and has grown into a wildly reckless, ruthless killer that hunts down and brutally massacres every cult cell she can find. Nor does she hesitate to kill any civillians or police that get in her way.

Meanwhile, Yuri, a mild-mannered, battered, studious and somewhat creepy boy in glasses, has spent these ten years with a psychotic, abusive, and suicidal mother. Mitsubu, leader of delinquents and self-proclaimed "strongest student of Kyoto", resides with a hikikomori father who sleeps his days away, supported by an older sister forced to play mother and breadwinner in the household.

As their seemingly-normal but not-quite-right lives come apart at the seams, Anne tracks down childhood friends Yuri and Mitsubu. Their families dead, themselves hunted fugitives, the two join her cause, to annihilate the extremist cult that wrecked their lives.

Dungeon Seeker review
Best I can explain why there are low scores on this masterpiece is that it just ain't for everyone.

Story: 9 - Isekai, yada yada... Starting point is final boss... blah blah blah, Main character wins by a stroke of luck, and so on~ though that's as far as it goes for the unproductive plotline, the story seems chaotic, there is no end goal as most isekai stories evidently display, the dungeon being a place uninviting to the insentient and a death trap even to the luckiest of the bunch, makes way for the writer to take any route he wants after the vengeance arc is over.

Art: 8 - Just my opinion, don't care about yours. The manga/manhua/manhwa doesn't need to have fills, rich background or complex details in every panel to be great, so long as the characters visibly display emotion, the surroundings of importance are discernible and the level of detail isn't completely botched as an uncolored webtoon.

Character: 7 - Most characters are poorly written, little leading motive, but it's just about counteracted with the development of the protagonist, which gradually recovered from his hatred only to have it fueled with extra topping just moments after his life was finally looking up for the first time. He has grown onto me, I thoroughly adore someone who could bear to lose himself in order to win whatever he has set his mind to.

Enjoyment & Overall: 10 - You're literally observing a teenager as he ventures into layers of hell as though every following level is made to torture him in a different area of his being, he is a ticking timebomb and we await to see this stem of hatred bloom into a beautiful flower of madness!
