One Piece review
Spoilers: I reveal the name of the crew members.
One Piece is the story of a boy named Monkey D. Luffy and on his journey to become the "Pirate King" and find the One Piece, which is the treasure left behind by Gol D. Rogers. Let me start out by saying I used to really like OP and was a big time fan, and as of the recent updates my passion for it has really declined over the years. Pros: 1) The setting - The world of OP is vast and filled with pretty much anything and everything possible. Fishmen, Mermaids, Giants, animal people, etc. Anyone with a sense of adventure can find some reason to like this world! 2) Tackles a lot of real world issues - Slavery, politics, corrupt government, etc. All these things appear and play a large role in the overarching story. 3) Haki is pretty interesting and I'm curious as to where it goes from here. Negatives: 1) WAY WAY WAY too many characters - There are so many important characters to put up with, all with unique personalities, and powers that all play an important role in each arc. But the price for that is lack of screentime. A lot of characters get booted to the side and don't play a major role in the Arcs due to the large cast, the biggest example is one of the Strawhat members. He joined the crew in the final parts pre-timeskip and literally has had zero screen time after the skip. It's really disappointing seeing a lot potential go to waste. Even now, Oda continues to introduce more and more characters that continues to crowd out the old ones. While it's understandable that some more characters are necessary for story-reasons, the amount Oda has establish is completely unreasonable. For example, You have the straw hat crew, the navy, the pirate warlods, the Yonkos, the CP9 or whatever, the Supernovas and that's not even including their crews. This all moshed up with the required story characters really puts a hamper on the pace of the manga. 2) It's going the Naruto route. Before the time-skip, it felt like everybody on the crew were actually there and played a large role in the stories. Now we only have Luffy, Zoro and Sanji are the only really useful people, while Robin and Nami are just there for fanservice, Tony-Tony Chopper who's just there for marketing reasons and occasionally do his job, Franky who's really just there to steer their ship, Ussop who is just comic relief, and Brook. Poor, poor Brook. Even among the 3 useful ones, 1 has been out of the picture until recently thus leaving Luffy and Zoro. Again, Oda is just wasting potential by not utilizing these characters 3) Probably the one that I get the most hate for: Luffy is a really stale MC. Up until one specific arc, he literally is just the same as any other main character who fights for his dream and his friends with the only difference being that he doesn't really care about other's opinions. After the mentioned arc and he experiences the reality of the world, what does he do? Nothing. He literally does not change or develop. This really angers me as I feel Luffy doesn't develop as a character. We feel a better connection with the character when we see them struggle and overcome obstacles and then grow as a person. Which is why Zoro is the best written character in OP. He actually feels like a human for what it's worth while Luffy feels completely unrealistic. Especially his reaction in the Dressrosa arc when a certain character is introduced and he has the worst reaction ever. I would like to mention that there is one instance where I give props to Luffy for overcoming an obstacle and it's his "bloody" fight. Final thoughts: OP is mediocre at best. It only has a few good moments that really stand out from the rest but the rest is just pretty eh. If you're into the pure essence of an epic adventure then I'd totally recommend One Piece to you, but if you're looking for more than there's plenty of better options out there.

Sakura no Uta review
I picked "Sakura no Uta" up because my favourite manga (Aku no Hana) is said to be heavily influenced by it.
I have this mixed impression about this manga. On the surface, it's old-style manga of 1990s that focus waay too much on comedy with comic-al plot (like the MC's uncle is suddenly a Godfather and at the end the MC became a world's famous artist despite spending his school life as a closet pervert/ secret introvert). I totally couldn't comprehend it at all (maybe my Japanese sucks, that's why). But at the same time I feel a hidden depth in it. It's almost like Cather in Rye / No Longer Human, with a cynical concept that humans are phoney... et c (which I LOVE). In fact, it proves to a total MIND RAPE. It's certainly a seinen/mature manga. In fact, not surprisingly, it was voted one of the most 'traumatising' manga among Japanese readers. All in all, it's probably too edgy for me, but since I like edginess. 6/10, maybe?

Bloodline review
The story of Bloodline was not bad in itself, however, it could have been longer. I'm not going to write a long review but here are some things about it;
-The art was alright, but it was very hectic. I had a hard time understanding who was who and what was going on. -In addition to that ^^^ it's supposed to be read from right to left, but the pages switched randomly back and forth between right to left and left to right, which made the hectic art REALLY difficult to understand (I'm not sure if the mangaka did this, or if it was flipped during scanning, or what). -It was a nice plot, but it could have been explained a little better. -Ends up feeling a little short, even for a one-shot. So there's an outline.

Time Paradox Ghost Writer review
I'm heartbroken this manga didn't make it past two volumes.
This, hands down, has to be one of the most unique and interesting plots I've ever seen. And normally, I'd be the critical guy, here... because what makes a manga good (or any story, for that matter), isn't its ideas, but how it presents them. It's clear in the very fabric of Time Paradox Ghostwriter that the series got axed right out the door, but even so, the mangaka were able to wrap it up in a way that I still found worthwhile. It's no surprise that people took offense to the plagiarism element of this manga, because people can find a reason to be offended by anything. In my opinion (and I'm stating this for the sake of the review, here) everyone should be able to understand that stories have always explored topics that cross social taboos, and finding ideas "offensive" or "insensitive" are not meaningful ways of interacting with media. Ever. Period. Doesn't matter where you come from or what topics you balk at. Boundaries are superficial, cultural, and very fluid. Everyone has different lines, and they will always be crossed somewhere. With that out of the way, I think Time Paradox Ghostwriter was a fantastic story with wonderful art, and an intricate, unique setup that uses this element of social taboo in its very premise. We get to see a protagonist who does something quite pathetic out of some tangible desperation, in a workplace setting and sci-fi time travel story that I would never have been able to conceive myself. The genius of this is that the main character is constantly drilled with the idea of making a manga that isn't "hollow," a manga that only HE could make, something unique, original, personal. With a message, too. That's exactly the manga itself! It's wholly unique, original, and personal -- but unfortunately, it had to bumrush its message. If given enough time, the weight of his plagiarism, the passion he feels for his work, and the lives of he and the heroine could have been explored in quite a beautiful way. For what we got, though, I'd say the managaka did very well.

Yakedo Shoujo review
In the beginning I thought this manga was a niche oriented towards nihilists and I really expected a heavy dose of philosophy from this work. But gradually it became very clear that it was crude and straight out gross. The main character is bland and doesn't have any appeal whatsoever with her pretense clearly visible.
The author needs to understand that being obsessed over death and masochistic/sadistic tendencies are two different things. That, being edgy doesn't equal gore, sex and grotesque corpses. The author could have used philosophy as a tool to bring out the emotions that he wanted instead of using gore as it would have looked much more genuine than the present piece of garbage it is.

Bradherley no Basha review
If you are looking for a story that is going to leave you with a bad taste than Bradherley's Coach is for you. It's one of the most appalling, pathetic stories I have ever read. I feel disgusted, just can't get it off my head.
The story revolves around little girls getting brutally raped and tortured to death in the most goriest fashion imaginable. With each chapter the story moves on to the next girl. Some chapters focus on the background stories of the girls; but there is no real character development. The only silver lining of this manga is its art. The art style is quite realistic even though most girls kind of look the same. The art is comparable with 'Blade of the Immortal'. The colored cover pages of the manga is gorgeous, I must say that is what drew me to this manga in the first place. This is not what I was expecting from the author of 'Blade of the Immortal', a serous let down. Pathetic is the word perfectly describes this manga. The author proclaimed in the manga that it was his attempt to draw an erotic story, If you find it as such than there is something wrong with you.

Dungeon Seeker review
Well let me start off by saying that if this manga was any longer than 33 chapters, I would have dropped it. It was interesting enough to keep me entertained for a few hours, but I'm vaguely irritated.
It started off pretty interesting but slowly morphed into some middle school edgy bullshit. Don't get it twisted--I really like edgy manga, but only if the edgyness amounts to something. This manga is edgy just for the sake of being edgy. Back in middle school, I remember playing on an Emo Roblox server. Reading this shit gave me the same experience. This manga also tries to get you emotionally invested in characters that you know for like 2 chapters, thinking that you'll be shaken by it's "deep and interesting plot UWU". The conflict resolution is also one of the most unsatisfying that I've ever read, and that speaks a lot when you consider how bloody this manga can be at times. This ending in itself was a clusterfuck, and you can really tell that the author said "fuck it" at then end. In conclusion, it's a generic Isekai that's edgy (in a bad way) with a shitty ass plot. Fuck you Dungeon Seeker. You can seek these nuts.

Shizuko wa Ore no Yome review
That felt very heart touching 😊
Story was very focused and straight to the point unlike other manga with 100s of chapters. Although, author felt the need of adding few filler routes just to give more background to the story but couldn’t add few more chapters of their after marriage happy life. After all, they got back together and get to be happy after 1000s of year. (Don’t worry there are no spoilers, this much information you can find in the story synopsis) It also felt like the last few panel of the last chapters (12) were kind of rushed (maybe I might be imagining)

Mai review
Well, I first got to say that the saying "Don't judge a book by its cover" is actually true. When I first found it, I looked at the picture for the cover, and then closed the window right away. I was one of those people who would first look at the picture, and if it looked old, or wasn't there at all, I wouldn't even bother to look at the description of the manga.
However, later that day, I somehow wanted to read something new, and something that had some supernatural powers involved... and one that wasn't all that light and humorous. I randomly typed in "psychic" in the title box to see what mangas would come out... and this was the one I was looking for. I first reluctantly started reading the description, and found that this would actually be quiet interesting. I finished this series in one sitting. This series made me cry in some scenes. The author really takes the reader on the journey of this girl who faces society and views the world in a completely different way from a normal citizen, like me. People, who thought that supernatural powers were all great abilities to have, would change their mind after reading this. This manga really brings out the darkness in these abilities. Artwork is the old type. Well, of course, since it was published about 25 years ago. I do not really like the mangas that were drawn long ago, especially the ones with huge glittery eyes and long eyelashes. However, the storyline really makes up for this. People get really drawn to the story. I even forgot the time, and missed dinner. That is how much I fell in love with this manga. I really recommend this!
