This is my favorite manga of all time together with Spirit Circle.

The story is just so well told, nothing fancy, or even new, there are a few on this very genre telling a similar tale. But this one focuses on the relationship of the brides and groons and how hard it is to make it work on a world that is just so cruel.

Taking place before a major conflict, we can't help but wonder what characters will make it by the end, and the outstanding art just makes it more gripping.

If I had to find a flaw, I would say it's the third couple I believe. Everything works so easilly for them, and them been so cliche does not help. it's like watching something with no stakes in it. No confict. Meanwhile every other part of our cast has been "fighting" to stay either alive, together or both! It's just lame. ANd there is nothing to change that now. Because even if something horrible happens later, it would feel like playing catch up with the rest of the cast who, by now, have literally fought on wars, survived starvation or both. And this is not even mentioning the actual relationship issues!

But even with all been said ,I still like them, they're wholesome enough for me to put my feelings aside.
