I'm honestly upset by the lack of attention this part has among the people reading Jojo. Some people just stop after Part 7.You can even understand by the lack of rewievs for this page. But it's not even close to bad and one of the best parts.

This manga starts very different from other parts. With a mystery,It's the Jojo's identity. This may sound like something could've solved easily but that's actually just an introduction to the actual plot of the series. It's not being irrelevant after we learn about his past it adds more to the story and really makes Josuke one of the best developed Jojos.Because he's just not trying to find his name or past but who is he as a person, who he really cares most.

First of all I'll start by reminding you this is an ongoing series right now and keep that in mind. There are many things unsolved and bringing them as irrelevant, stupid, boring is just not fair.

Overall 9/10

Depends on the ending I might even give it a 10.Even if you don't think it's the best (but I think)I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as you enjoy any other part.A great part that has been building its plot since 8 years and has probably the most complex story.

8.5/10 Story

It really has a great story, very different and you can't see a clear objective in the beginning but after introduction of many enemies most of them are tied to Josuke's past and Higashikata family. And this is the part the Rokakaka fruit comes in and it becomes the main objective.

There are really good fights, such as Born This Way,Vitamin C,Doctor Wuu,The Head Doctor(still ongoing) and of course the beetle fight. The story has a connection with SBR's plot and Johnny.I suspect there is still more to discover about it.

My only complaint would be at the early chapters there was some fights I think was a little long or pointless or some scenes that were annoying. But this is a common thing for all the Jojo parts as I've seen.

I can't comment about the rest of the series since they're not out, that's why I'm not giving it a 9.

Art 10/10
You can just search for volume covers and see for yourself, they are amazing.

Character 9/10

Characters are one of the best things about the series.
Josuke is one of the best Jojos. And you can really see his growth with your eyes through the story. He has his funny, adorable moments, especially with Yasuho or Norisuke but also pretty brutal when the enemy comes.

Yasuho is also an amazing character, she's the first one to find Josuke and like she was the first person to help Josuke, also Josuke is the person she needed his help for a long time.We can also see her determination to help him.She has a colorful personality and she gives Josuke her dog(Josuke)'s name when he first woke up.

Mamezuku is a late-introduced mentor-like character in my opinion. He has a cool personality,an unique home and probably one of the smartest characters in this part.

Higashikata family members at the first feels very out of place or random but actually any of them are important for the plot. They feel like an actual family with all of the members having very very different goals but still connected to each other like a family.
And also a lot of characters I won't mention due to spoilers.

I don't know if it's ok to count stands as characters but I really like stand designs(with some exceptions) of this part.Especially Soft&Wet.It's really unique with more potential we've yet to see.

Enjoyment 10/10

It's enjoyable with great characters, character interactions and cool fights.
