SOME SPOILERS: I wanted to read a horror manga for the first time so I started researching around, I came across this manga. I was hooked for the entire story. But, what I didn't like was the ending, to be honest, when I got to the ending, I didn't even know it was the ending, I kept trying to figure out where the next chapters were when I realized that WAS the ending, it was probably one of the most inconclusive endings I've ever read. I had so many more questions about the things that happened, ahem.. Hiromi and her relationship with Hideo being covered, promises that were made that were never brought back up again (boat man), or what happened to Kurusu. But a pot full of gold with a rock in it does not ruin the gold. The art in this manga is magnificently grim and fits the tone perfectly when it needs to, the characters are likable down to the very last side character, and its got more twists than I can count, the Evangeleon like creatures make it different from just your average "zombie eats your brains because hungry," type zombie story. Overall I think it's definitely worth the read even with the sour ending.
