Resumo
After The Biggest, Most Awful, Most Tragic Event in Human History, an organization known as Future Foundation was created in order to save the world. In addition, the Special Crime Investigations division was formed with the sole purpose of investigating bizarre and grotesque murders. Their newest recruit, Misaki Asano, is bright, cheerful, and despises gore—yet that does not stop her from striving to bring light in a world ridden with despair.

Partnered with the eccentric slob Takumi Hijirihara, Misaki's first job is to investigate the discovery of several corpses at an idol's concert. Although Hijirihara has solved the case swiftly, the culprit is soon discovered cleanly dismembered by a mysterious murderer of murderers known as "Killer Killer." Only leaving behind a cute note at the scene of the crime, Killer Killer has been eluding the Foundation for a long time, but the mastermind behind these slaughters may be closer than they realize.

[Spoiler ahead for Killer Killer and Danganronpa series in general]

Oh, Killer Killer. How i want to like you so much for being another danganronpa with my hunger for the series.

Killer Killer follows an episodics style of story (at least till the last arc) where we get introduced to bizzare murder before our MC solved it........well, "Solved". We would often gets introduced to mystery that gets solved instantly without any rhyme or reasons with the sole excuse being, "Takumi Hijirihara" aka Killer Killer knows who's the murderer just cause he likes murderer. 99% characters introduced served as nothing but quirky traits like they're power point presentation and in result, the pages would often built up basically filler of murder mysteries that you're not gonna get anyway with no evidence to who's the killer till Mr. Killer Killer points at the person at the last few pages.

And now, let's talk about our MC. Killer Killer would often judges people by how passionate at murder they are, could erase any kind of a person's personal history, One-shots everything, and have no chance of falling into....despair? In a series where they would televised students killing each other to the world to make people fall into despair, Our main character who kills serial killer is apparently not even a despair. He's always on the right side with his opponents always be an even more fucked up killer with motives like killing so he could drink blood to make himself stayed young forever, and even got a lovely happy ending for himself. One might wonder if the series is a character study about him but, considering how there's no one who make a challenge to his ideals, i say that's likely not the case.

Would i recommend it? Well.......if you like OP main character one-shotting everything i guess? And the art is decent too. I guess it shouldn't be too much of a hassle to read the series since there's only 14 chapters to it.

Have a nice day.

There's one thing for sure that I can say without a doubt about this manga...
WHAT A WASTE OF POTENTIAL!!!ri

This manga is the spin-off for the anime Danganronpa 3 The End of Kibougamine Gakuen that pretty popular at the time.
Our MC name Hijihara Takumi (that looks very similar to Hikigaya 8man from Oregairu for some reason) is a serial murderer that kill other serial murderer because they lack the passion for their murder. It's pretty refreshing to see this plot because rather than a vigilante for justice, there is a lot of potential in this character.
There's also our other main character, which is a girl names Asano Misaki who is a newbie in the office.

There are other characters as well... But they never got mention after just one chapter. And no, they're not the victim's families or suspects, they're suppose to be their associates.

Now, there's a lot of problem in this manga, but I'll start with the investigations.

They just skip it with the words "I know passionate murders" and just skip to the finishing story. I mean, Danganronpa is indeed bizarre but it's still a mystery game with a fun investigations and figuring out who's the murderer is. But this manga just said fuck all tigations, let's get to the part he kills someone already!"

And than there's the story... now, the plot itself is quite interesting. A vigilante seeking to grading murders after murders, and kill the person if their murders aren't meeting his standard. But seeing the misteries uncover themselves without giving the readers any evidences to solve it feels bad

The cameo is... pathetic. They show for one chapter, only to go away for the rest of the series without any significant effect to the story. They're just... there.
Some of the part where Killer Killer kills someone is just to OP for Danganronpa universe. This might doesn't mean much to some people, but seeing someone cut one whole roof with a simple knife seems too out of the world for me, especially when Danganronpa's murders are usually done rather normally (except the execution of course)

Overall, this show has an interesting premise. Just fix the investigation, fix the story, make the characters more compelling, make the investigations better, and make the cameo of the Ultimates matter. With "just" that, this manga will become something worth reading
