Galaxy Angel

Ok first to get this out of the way,unlike most anime that are based off the manga adaption this manga has NOTHING to do with the anime it is a more serious take on the otherwise cutesy comedic tv show.It is actually more or less based of the Visual novel ''Project G.A.'' and some elements of its sequel ''moonlit lovers''.

Story -
The story itself is honestly not too original,Eonia wants to has captured the moon goddess shatoyarn and wants to take over the white moon.So its the angel brigades job to stop him at all costs but at the same time trying to cope with their new commander who they are untrust worthy of,the reason why this is a problem is because the happier they are the better their emblem frames will work in battle to defeat Eonia it's the commander's job to make them all happy.Even to the point of having to make them fall in love with him if that is what it takes.

Art -
The art (all drawn by kanan) Is absolutely stunning,but i think might be an opinion thing i for own thought it was amazing.

character -
I think its the main characters that make up the angel brigade is the best part of this manga.They are not anything special if you just suddenly happen to come across the manga and start reading it but if you went through 4 seasons of the anime they will definitely without a doubt grow on you,and after watching that seeing the more serious/depressing parts of them would interest the reader.
There is Milfeulle the happy cute girl who loves to cook and has extreme luck,Ranpha the tsundere-type who has a great interest in romance and fortune telling,Mint the mind reader who is easy to distrust people,Forte the gunnut,and Vanilla your typical run of the mill kuudere who barely does much at all besides have a few short moments here and there to remind you that she exists,and then there is Chitose who comes later on in the series she has a more serious role in the sequel beta (and probably the most interesting character).And then finally theres Takuto that at first seems like a pervert and a slacker but has this trustworthy air to him.

Enjoyment -
If you are a long time galaxy angel fan like i was it was definitely refreshing and maybe even a dream come true to see galaxy angel with a serious storyline but for the average manga reader i don't think this would bring any attention besides maybe the adorable book covers,also keep in mind that the sequel is more entertaining than this but not really worth going through 5 books to read first.
So yea,if you really want to get into this manga Watch all 4 seasons of the anime first.
