Resumo
"Life is a shitty game. No matter how hard you try, you cannot overcome the characteristics given to you at birth."

To Fumiya Tomozaki, who feels he is trash-tier and can never compete with the god-tier humans in the world, this phrase is the truth. His one pride is in his position as Nanashi, Japan's number one player in the video game Atafami. However, one day, when he meets the rank two player face to face, his stance is challenged.

Is life actually the greatest game of all?

‘Life is a shitty game. You face discrimination based on such things as face, physique and age. No matter how hard you try, you cannot overcome the disadvantages of your own body. Life is irrational and unfair. Trash tier characters like me are weak from the birth and persecuted. The god tier characters are born winners, and you will never become as good as they are, ‘or so Fumiya thinks. One day he meets a girl that is a fan of games as much as he is. She proves him that his life is a game, too, and that any good gamer will be able to make something good out of their lives. How will a mysterious girl, Fumiya meets, change his life?

Basically this manga is about a hikimori gamer that does not do anything in his life but games, but he, for some reason, complains that his life is bad and that he does not even have a girlfriend. He meets a girl that claims to be as much of a gamer as he is and promises Fumiya to change his life and to even find a girlfriend for him.

I do not know, if a story like that can be anyhow interesting. To succeed in life, one needs to not play video games, but to work hard to get a good education and later a job with a good payment. Here, however, as I have mentioned already, the male protagonist of the manga does nothing for him to succeed in life, yet, he complains about how much of a shitty game his life is.

All in all, if you find something like that interesting, this might be a manga you are looking for. I, however, failed to find even a grain of something unique and interesting about it. Success has nothing to do with luck. It is the result of blood, sweat and tears. Do not be in a hurry, life repays everything eventually. It only depends on who you are: a hard worker, or a cry-baby.
