Kekkai no Noah review
It starts off pretty well, it feels like I'm about to read the manga equivalent of the suite life of zack and cody. Then some spooky mysterious stuff goes down and it turns into a horror manga.
I felt like the story was too fast paced for its own good. I didn't get enough time to care about the characters, and I feel unaffected when they're later disposed of. In my opinion, there wasn't enough time to build for the climax either. There was a sense of tension brewing for a while, but unfortunately it gets released pretty quickly. aThe art is good but it didn't exactly stand out. I gave it an extra point for the cover illustrations though, becacuse wow. In conclusion: It's an okay horror manga. It's not bad by any means, but I wish the author had been more patient with the plot. Personally I think he can go places if he works on that specific area. |
