Resumo
A girl named Miu stumbles upon a mysterious pawnshop where the only item for trade is time itself! Everyone always searches for extra time, but are they willing to exchange something that is more valuable and irreplaceable — their most precious memories? These memories could be wiped out forever if the borrowed time is not returned. Tokiya, the shop owner, recruits Miu to work part time as a "Time Go-Between." Her new boss is sweet, but he has his own motives regarding the time he trades. And Miu must always remember the most important rule: Never speak of the shop to anyone.

Time Guardian review
This is my first review so I hope it won't turn out like poop.:'(
Story: Ok so this manga is very very short. It's only like 2 books, but it was enjoyable. The story is mainly based on the people that need time and the protagontist, Miu. But later the story heads to a new direction and that's where the real problem begins to take shape. The story plot is just like any other manga. First you have these enjoyable everyday life days. But then there's a even greater problem and you have to solve it and try to make everything right again. But in the end it's never very really the same again. Art: The art was okay-ish except for some parts of the story it doesn't really look that realistic. Also when there are crying scenes the people look kinda weird, but that's just my opinion. Character: I felt like the series was too short to leave room for any real character development. Sure there were lots of instances where Miu helps people go through their troubles, but it doesn't define who she really is other than that she likes to help people. Enjoyment: It wasn't extremely intriguing, although it did have its funny moments occasionally. I would only recommend you read it if you have some spare time, because since it's short you can just finish it quickly, but if you would rather read a "masterpiece" I suggest looking for another manga. |
