Resumo
Iori is a high school girl who doesn't know what she wants to do with her future, and tends to run away from things. One day, she is attacked by strange dead-eyed people on her way to school, only to be saved by an equally mysterious long-haired man. Later that day, her friend at school, Jion, seems to fall under the same murderous influence. To her surprise, she finds herself capable of defending herself from his violent attack. Afterward, the long-haired man she met in the morning, Zerozaki Soushiki, arrives once more, this time to invite her to become his little sister. What has Iori become involved with, and will she be able to survive this change to her life?

Zerozaki Soushiki no Ningen Shiken review

When I first watched Zaregoto's OVA I just had to know more about that story, and that's when I read my first light novel, and let's just say I loved the character Zerozaki Hitoshiki, I would love for that novel to be animated.

Nisioisin made a spinoff of the 9 novel series called Zaregoto, Ningen; which focuses on the Zerozaki. It's also more action related so let's say it's a good novel to be made into manga. Let's jump into it then.

I'm new to reviews so I'll try to just write about each category:

Story: 7/10

The story was ok, with a few twistes every now and then. The cliffhanger too, I can't wait to see how that follows, and the ending might be unexpected. Overall it was a good start of the Ningen series, this adapted just the first novel so I'm sure it will get better later on. It also has quite the amount of references to the Strangulation novel from Zaregoto, and many future characters of the series that you just don't know if they are setting them for this story's future, or are just related to Zaregoto's

Art: 8/10

At first I was worried, I love Medaka but I don't particularly love its artstyle, so I'm glad for a Nisioisin manga, they had another artist. I like the art quite a bit, it has nice sceneries, and I like the way they drew the action scenes. It looks like the sequel has a different artist tho, interesting enough. I'm also glad we got to see the Zerozaki family in manga format with this artist, the designs are really good, maybe I'm not a fan of the eyes but that would be the only thing I didn't truly liked.

Characters: 9/10

In my opinion, Nisioisin characters are just amazing in general. Zaregoto has some really good characters as well, makes you love even the supporting characters that make one or two appearances in all the series, and don't even get me started on the names.

All characters are amazing. The villains weren't such a big deal since this is just the first novel, but they were ok I guess, they were just a stepping stone to make the Zerozaki shine. Iori had an interesting development too, still my least favorite Zerozaki. Soushiki really grew on me, at first I wasn't sure but I really end up liking him (I won't stop typing if I talk about Hitoshiki so I'll just skip him). As short as it was, I'm glad we got to see Jun as well, she really is one of the best characters of the novels.

Enjoyment 9/10 and Overrall 8/10:

As I see that it says 7/10 story I can truly tell that I enjoyed this manga not because of the story but because how much I love the world itself, the references, the characters. I'm glad there's a manga of this novel, and I would love for more people to read it. I wanted to read the next manga that adapts the second volume, but there are no translations or fan translations, people just won't notice this manga even though it's pretty enjoyable, and it's not dialogue heavy like Monogatari or Zaregoto, so I don't get it, I'm sure this is something people would like.

So I hope that this review helps you to give it a try or know what it's about, i'm really sorry if it's hard to understand, I'm not used to reviewing
