One Piece review
One Piece. I love this series and you should too. I admit, when I first decided to try reading the series I was put off by the horrible 4kids One Piece dub, thinking the manga would be utter crap, aimed at pre-pubescent kids. But when I actually started reading it and got into it, I realised it was an interesting and worthwhile read.

I'll keep it simple with a few key points as to why you should read it: it's characters are interesting, the battles are usually satisfying and the manga isn't the typical one-dimensional stuff you usually find in shounen - while it may simply look like a manga aimed at children from the outside, the stories of people in One Piece usually have much deeper meanings.

You may be intimidated by the length of it (631 and counting!). Don't be. As soon as you start, you'll fly through all those chapters and be hungry for more. Your desire for OP will never be sated. Maybe the art is a turn-off? It may not appeal to everyone, but after a while you might just find yourself loving it and the unique character designs in the series.

You might be debating more reasons in your head but the easiest way is to simply sit down and try reading it. If it doesn't initially seem that good, don't give up! You could be missing out on a potential favourite. I recommend reading at least fifty chapters before passing any judgement but that's just me. If you do not have that much time to spare at least aim for twenty.

Otona ni Nuts review
Story
Otana Ni Nuts is definitely a strange manga that tells the story of a young 5th grade girl who only dreams of becoming a woman, and when I mean woman I mean the whole deal like, boobies, looks, and everything, mostly the sexiness though. The young heroine Natsumi, spins around adoringly in front of her mirror posing like the models from ‘America’s Got Talent,’ while saying her ideal line “sexy” with apples on her breasts to make them look like the sexy grown up boobies (mine are kind of small though). The manga explores the hardships in which little kids’ face, such as having little to no respect, and or not being able to receive some special gift. As a result of facing these sorts of hardships, Natsumi steals a bag of peanuts that are meant for adults only and eats them and than bing bam boom, the next morning she wakes up with the body of a beautiful teenage girl (If I say anymore it’ll be a spoiler)! Well anyway, I personally do love the plot of this whole manga even though it does sound strange at first. I do admit that I was a bit skeptical to read this manga due to its overly weird synopsis which this website provided, but you’d be very surprised to know that it could be quite enjoyable to those shojo fans out there. However, this manga is indeed far from what you’d call a masterpiece, just from reading the first few chapters of this manga I could easily tell the flaws of it. But the number one flaw that will always bother me is the fact that this manga is a bit too fast paced to the point where we’re hearing multiple proposals (not telling what kind) in just a few chapters.

Characters
I absolutely felt no emotions towards the characters in this manga whatsoever which is quite strange due to the fact that I’m quite judgmental when it comes to the characters of anime and manga. For some strange reason throughout reading all four volumes of this manga I felt no specific emotion except for enjoyment, but the enjoyment didn’t feel right, it felt sort of empty. Perhaps you could call it a sense of artificial enjoyment if there was such a thing that exists. The manga concentrated on a total of three characters: Natsumi, Asuma, and Yuunosuke. Natsumi is our main heroine, who is probably no different from any other heroine in the shojo industry today. The only features, I believe that are quite uncommon in other shojo heroines if the fact that Natsumi is probably is the only girl to have ever wished for something purely childish as to grow up and be that sexy lady she dreams to be. The main male protagonist is Asuma Yaneyama, who is known to be very close friends with Natsumi. Our next character is Morinomiya Yuunosuke the handsome doctor who is the creator of those life-changing nuts.

Art
The art of this manga is definitely not impressive, fantastic, enchanting, or OMFG THIS IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! In fact, I found the quality of art to be somewhat amateur compared to the many other types of anime/manga art in the entertainment industry of Japan. I felt as if the characters were too skinny and were a bit disproportionate compared to the usual shojo style, but I must say that I did find the art a bit interesting and such. Sometimes it’s okay to see something different for once, makes the whole story a bit of interest. I have come to understand that Otana Ni Nuts were one of Haruka Fukushima’s earlier works which only excites me more to see the other shojo manga she has written.

Overall
There were a few things that I thought of while reading this manga: If I had the chance to grow up 10 years into the future would I? Would the reasons differ from each person? Personally if I had the chance to be in adult for about eight hours than I would seize that chance, besides don’t we all need a little adventure in our lives? I would recommend Otana Ni Nuts to anyone who enjoy shojo and who question the chance of becoming an adult for one day.

Obito no Hime to Kubinashi Kishi review
::Story::
This is another princess story with a huge focus on political power and assassination attempts, but the way it's carried out comes off boring and confusing. Many loose ends are left even in the conclusion. For example, the princess's magical voice is never developed upon. She has the one power that stops even a king's greed, yet she never exercised it. I think that's an unfortunate waste of potential!

::ART::
The artwork is this manga's strong point, and it honestly made me read to the end despite boredom. I will say I think the distance between noses and eyes should have been a bit longer. To my eye, they looked too squished together. Besides Charlotte's arranged suitor, all of the men's facial structure were copies of Albert (Headless Knight).

::CHARACTERS::
No favorites for me in Obito no Hime to Kubinashi Kishi.

Princess Charlotte is a bookworm, which is always a nice character trait. She fumbles through learning mountains of financial books to help her brother and kingdom. Charlotte may have had more time to shine in a longer story.

Princess's bro had those subtle incest vibes, but he was an okay guy. He's the only one willing to (verbally) challenge bloodthirsty killer, Albert too.

Headless Knight dressed cool but was bland.

::ROMANCE::
Nonexistent until the very last page of the last chapter. No love confessions either, because Albert ain't that kind of guy.

::OVERALL::
Since the theme of Obito no Hime to Kubinashi Kishi is serious and short it leaves no way for cliches, but it doesn't leave any room for excitement either. Also, I had never been so tired of watching manga characters drink tea ever.

Game->Fantasy/ Discrimination against Beast & Monsters/ / Potential Romance?/ Some Ecchiness d=(´▽`)=b

If you are here because of the cute girl on the thumbnail, dive in! I think you will enjoy this art quality of this manga with a tiny bit of surprising fanservice ;)

!!Minor Spoiler!!
Story: 8
Upon picking up this manga, the term VRRMO & F.A.O.(Fantasy Adventure Online) made me thought that this is gonna be a SAO-wannabe; however, the story concept of this manga is something brand new as it dives upon the topic of discrimination between beasts and humans. Thank god~

While reading, I can see that the flow of this manga isn’t as erratic (pretty controlled imo) as some of the fantasy or isekai manga; nonetheless, there are still some confusing sections. Maybe, this might be caused by the difficultness of adapting a novel story into a manga? I have not read “Next Live"’s light novel, but I assume this is the case. This happens a lot when a light novel is adapted to a manga. Thus, I am going to give it a -1 for this reason and another -1 for potential error in the future.

Yet, I still want to see how Marius, the male MC, and Anett, the female MC, are going to solve this hatred between the two groups.

Art: 10 (11)
The art is amazing. It is rare to see a manga with such art quality when it is adapted from a light novel(made me think that I was reading an illustration book). Initially, I thought the thumbnail and the chapter one’s splash-art are just clickbaits; however, I want to raise my beer to the mangaka for his consistent effort. Just a quick example, when Anett cried (chapter 6 ~pg20), the detail of her face was astounding! Would give it higher than a 10 if possible~

Character: 8
I love the 4 main characters’ setups, which are:
1. Marius->has superior magic power from his old game
2. Ben-> the dog-head man
3. Anett->got a special power:monster tamer)->strong power that even the lord wants
4. Dullan->the orc
On the other hand, some of the side characters' appearance or setup seem questionable because they seem rather pointless. I don’t see their purpose of coming into a story and immediately die after. Using the same reason again, the mangaka probably skip some explanations since it is adapted from the light novel. Thus with a -2.

Enjoyment: 1~10
Oh well, if you just read this manga, you will easily get hooked and catch up to the latest chapter. That is why I give it a 10. YET… it seems like this is a monthly manga and translated team for this manga is nowhere to be found ;/ yikes…(thus with a 1)

Overall: 8 (could be an 8.5 or 9 because of the necessity of waiting)
This manga has so much potential on its story, and the art is amazing. Yet, due to its publication progress, it is hard for the reader to wait and be patient ;/ Come on translation teams!!! Pick this manga up for us~ (╯✧∇✧)╯

Andante review
I am quite the sucker for music-themed anime and manga, so of course I had to read this. Then again, I feel that music-themed manga is harder to enjoy compared to music-themed anime simply because viewers are able to hear the soundtrack.

Now then, if you like seeing individual development, a musical manga is good. The main character is always trying to be a better musician and understand the world and people around him/her, and in Andante, this is no different. What is unique to this manga, then, is the element of family drama. The introduction of Melvina into the lives of Mei and her brother Natsu seems to be a burden the way their parents dump her on them, but when they realize her musical ability, their initial viewpoints change. That doesn't mean their problems are over, however.

The beginning of the manga did not start out in a very interesting manner, though it did pick up later, much like in Miho's Kodomo no Omocha. I can't say that I really liked the biggest problem that arose, though it did make the story very intriguing. Though the ending was conclusive enough, I was not satisfied with it, hoping that there would be better closure for the main character.

I was expecting a good amount of humor from having read Miho's older and most famous manga Kodomo no Omocha, but the laughs were kept to a minimum, especially because of the conflicts within the family and the seriousness of the profession of music. That's not to say that there aren't any funny parts, though; I did spend a few good moments laughing to myself.

The protagonist Mei is a likable character. Though her brother Natsu is the musical prodigy, she is not an exceptional player, though she isn't terrible, either. This makes her an easier character for the reader to relate to, as perfection isn't everywhere. She cares about her brother a lot and would do anything to help him, yet she tries to hide her own problems and solve them herself. She is a brave young girl who has yet to discover her own strength and determination.

Natsu is the boy that possessed musical talent as a child, so everyone foresaw his success as a composer and musician in his future. He is a handsome man who garners a lot of attention for his work and performances. Like his sister cares about him, he is also extremely protective of Mei. He often overworks himself, though, in order to meet deadlines for composing music. Natsu spends hours in his studio thinking of new melodies and rhythms. I still find him a mysterious character in the way that he completely immerses himself in another world. While this type of character is too typical in a musical manga, he almost seems necessary.

Melvina is the beautiful Australian relative who comes to live with Mei and Natsu for some reason. Though she is from another country, she speaks Japanese well. She takes time adjusting herself to life in Japan because she's quite innocent and naive about city customs and Japanese schools. Her voice is breathtakingly beautiful and she loves to sing. I was a little annoyed at her naivety, but her actions made sense later on and I liked her a little better.

The artwork of Andante is almost the same as that of Kodomo no Omocha. It is typical 90s manga style with small faces, big eyes, flat hair, etc. What I didn't like so much was the same-face syndrome. Mei and Melvina looked very similar to me and only slightly differed in height. I could only tell them apart because they wore different hair styles, and they changed those often. It was particularly strange because Melvina is said to be very pretty, and for Mei to look the same made that fact mean nothing.

With all this said, I give this manga 7/10. While the plot was semi-interesting, I didn't particularly like the problem that came up later, though I can't deny that it was successful in moving the story along. I also did not like the ending. The characters were not too exciting to me, but I did like Mei. The art was all right. Overall, it was a pretty okay read after the exciting part was over. I'm sure I would have enjoyed it much more as an anime adaptation mostly because of the musical aspect.

ZENBU, HAJIMETE review
**As a note there are only 3 parts in total to this manga. I know of no other, although 5 are listed. So please aware that it is 3 not 5 chapters for this manga.

First off I want to say I wanted to read this mangaka's other work since I noticed a Christian theme in the last manga one-shot of her's that I read entitled Kamisama Onegai! (I recommend reading this mangaka, it's great too.) I wasn't disappointed by finding that there was a religious theme here as well. Not as religious as the first but there is a strong presence of God and the hand of God in aiding faith along. Very miniscule overall.

The premise of the story is of a young girl who starts at a new school and bumps into the math teacher of her school on the first day. To her surprise, this teacher used to be a neighbor of hers and they had a relatively close relationship, so much so she called him Onii-chan. To go into one failure of the story is that you don't know how that relationship came about, nor how it ended. Although you do know it ended drastically and also unfortunately because she thought she would never see him again. These are dynamics of the story that would have pushed along character development and give us a bit of depth into the backstory of the characters. Unfortunately this was missing which ultimately does affect the story from my perspective.

Randomly they seem to pick up where they left off withou any angst over the past. In some ways that's good, but I find it utterly unlikely. She didn't know why she left, so why not ask?! I thought it would be a normal reaction to find out what happned to him and why. As the story progresses you see the lead female deal with a lot of insecurity. One moment in paticular is when she goes to a party she shouldn't have. So you have this young girl at a very adult party, in way over her head. There are two elements to this. The first deals with a sister. It so happens that the lead male has a sister, as a teacher he's studious, handsome, well liked, and from what I can see arrogantly gorgeous----he's very self-confident. There's no doubt he wants the lead female, but it seems a bit twisted because the mangaka makes her seem verynaive, and very innocent----almost prepubscentin a way.

Now you find out the lead male has an older sister...The problem was that she wasn't used in the story effectively. She was great from what you saw and looked a lot like her brother. However the lead girl never knew he had a sister. This perplexed me because she knew him when he was very young. I'm trying to figure out--how she knew him to the extent that she called him brother but had no idea of his sister. It'sa failure on the part of the writer in effectively telling her story. In any event the sister aids the girl to attend the above party---however she doesn't accompany the girl as a guardian of sorts and doesn't reappear for one single part of the rest of the story. It's annoying.

However, even taking into consideration these issues the story was good on it's face and not totally disastrous. I actually was greatly entertained and would have found this to be one of the bests if there weren't so many loose ends. The characterization could have been better, but that's because they lackd backstory, which would have been great in understanding the full aspects of their relationship. The art is very good. I don't find this mangaka's males o be very Bishie like...however I will say that she manages to use her character drawings effectively to display emotions. Normally in mangas you get a picture as though their posing. This mangaka gives you emotions. I do recommend it.

It's a good sensei/student read.
