This is basically the structure of the work, the kickoff, and yes, it is cliché and generic, but it is not a problem, because that is the intention of the work, to give the reader a light story about three heroines, each with a personality unmistakable, that will fight to save this unknown world, is not the type of work that creates a generic and massive history and tries to convey the idea of ​​seriousness, and for that reason it fails.
No ... Magic Knight Rayearth is different, he does not try to convey the idea of ​​seriousness because the very art of the work, the features, the characters, the history, everything indicates this, so it is okay to be generic and cliché.

But then you ask me, is it more then just a silly little story about magical girls !? And this is where it gets interesting, because the answer is no, Magic Knight Rayearth also sends a message, actually several, and the one I like most is friendship, companionship, but of course, we also have several, among them , sacrifice, love, betrayal, good and evil etc.
I really liked the work so loving they had for this work, perfect art, unmistakably beautiful features and a world beyond interesting, in addition to three incredible characters that seem to have a life of their own, I will definitely read more of the CLAMP girls
