This is a 62 pages one-shot that I am sure almost everyone (including myself) picked up because of Murata sensei's art.
This is supposed to be the climax of a classic shounen tournament arc: the opponents facing each other are the champions of their kingdoms, the Science and the Magic one.
Every three years these two realms organise a selection to choose who is going to fight the other kingdom's champion.
As I mentioned before, this should be the climax of the tournament: the one-shot shows how the two champions beat their last opponent before facing each other, a bit of their personalities and then their last fight. The last fight is not that much interesting though, despite Murata sensei art, which was very good as always, but there are no panels with heavy details or astonishing drawings.
I found the backstories of the characters to be very cliche, while their character design could have been much better: the Magic Kingdom's champion looks like he came out of the Magi manga :/
This one-shot wasn't the best: it could have shown a bit more worldbuilding which could have been interesting, but instead focused on the champions and their motivations and lifestyle.
As I said in the first line, I picked it up because of Murata sensei's art, but his art did not compensate for the other aspects of this one-shot.
In conclusion, this is a 62 pages one-shot, so you won't lose a lot of your time while reading it, and it has Yusuke Murata's art, but lacks in any other aspect.
