Why do I rate this manga an overall 10 when the story, art, character, and enjoyment ratings are 8,9,9, and 9 respectively? It's because I feel having all fairly high rating categories deserves extra rating points.
It is refreshing to see a new sci-fi manga that is about astronauts and space shuttles instead of spaceships and really futuristic technology. The story is clear, concise, and open; the author can seamlessly place events and situations in a thoughtful manner without having to force it.
The art is appears simple compared to some manga, yet still full of details. The artist sometimes efficiently uses lines to give people and objects form, then places lines strategically to give the suggestion of more detail. (example: chapter 1, page 29 a bunch of stars instead of a lot of them)
Since I have only read 2 chapters so far (what is online right now) I can only hope it will get better but I think this manga is one of the best for this year and I think it is one worth looking in to.

I have only read 20 chapters so far, even though this manga is finished.

Anyway, my opinion about the story. Well, so far, this is not my first manga about space and astronauts. But I can say for sure that the story is unenjoyable and stale.
Of course being a shônen, it has those "shônen" moments and the light comedy.
Okay, now you may think: "Omg, School, Shonen and Comedy. This is so overused.". And.... well you're right.The manga has nothing new.


Art. Fair, not bad but it’s boring to look at. It gets the job done though.


Shônen character. Nothing new. Dimwitted overly optimistic MC. Overbearing and annoying female side MC, and smart third part of the group. They are all best friends and really support each other.
I can really complain because these character archetypes are so overused, they’re so unrealistic. Same goes for the story. Even for a sci-fi.
What this story is lacking is an inkling of originality, it’s way too boring and trying to play it safe.
About the support characters. They support, literally. They suck too, incredibly devoid of any character.


Enjoyment. I didn't really like it too much, it's not completely boring but it's also not really all that interesting either. It is exactly the light heart manga with the main character that will always try to suprise you with new stuff and cool moments but end up failing spectacularly, this isfar from what I was looking for (after reading Uchuu Kyoudai, Planetes, Inherit the Stars and plenty of other well-done sci-fi manga this just strikes me as hilariously unimaginative and bland). No real suspense or sense of urgency. A perfect time killer for anyone with absolutely nothing else left to read is the best praise I can give this manga

i have only read 32 so far, even though this manga is finished (can't find chapter 33-39 anywhere). So, if you are like me, and read manga online, be prepared to be left with no real ending( until now).

Anyway, my opinion about the story. Well, so far, this is my first manga about space and astronauts. But i can say for sure that the story is quite enjoyable and new.
Of course being a shônen, it has those "shônen" moments and the light comedy.
Okay, now you may think : "Omg, School, Shonen and Comedy. This is so overused.". And.... well you're right.The manga has nothing new, except being focused around space. But, most of the time, the events happen somewhere outside school.
Is it complex ? Mhm, i could understand everything, but i was questioning a lot of things. So no, it is not complex. Don't forget, it is Sci-fi, meaning no realistic settings.


Art. Puplished 2011, do i need to write more ? Yeah, it is on the same level as most of the mangas published 2011 - and that means it is really nice drawn.

What this story is lacking is a real villain. *Spoiler,well not really one*. There is no real villain. Of course, they can die, it's not like they gain abilities which will make them immortal ( A lot of those space test are freakin dangerous). And because of that, the story still has some thrill. But there is no real enemy, which they have to face against.
About the support characters. They support, literally.


Enjoyment. I loved it and still do. It is exactly the light heart manga with a main character that will always suprise me with new stuff and cool moments, that i was looking for ( after finishing a lot of dramas and tragedy stories in the last time ). No mature tragedy. Perfect after a hard day of work (or school).


Overall, Good-Very Good.

Don't forget, if you also read manga online, it only has 32 chapters out so far. (Last Chapter was posted March. No release date for chapter 33). But don't let that stop you, it is definitly worth a try.
