Akira review
I actually would rate this lower if I read just the normal black and white volumes that are being printed right now. Fortunately for me I was able to come across the 38~ volume full color version of this manga.
The art style in fully detailed color definitely blows the story to a whole new level. It just makes the whole thing 'pop'. If you are able to get access to these original color manga versions please read them/buy them/steal them. They really make this manga a true work of art.

Cross and Crime review
Personally, I do not think that this manga was good. It kept me on my toes, wanting to know how it unfolds.
As for the title, I think that the story's name "Cross" refers to atonement and "Crime" refers to the sin(s) that fuel the story. There are lots of negative comments about this manga due to the shocking content (i.e. rape, child sexual abuse, murder, prostitution). This is definitely not for sensitive people. Hatsuki Kyo's art is realistic and appealing to look at. The story has triggering moments. One of the genres is psychological. For that, we get to dive into the minds of the antagonist and protagonist to understand them. That does not mean that we have to like them. I found them fascinating and was even more fascinated with seeing how they were entirely different people who "co-existed" (in actuality, it is Keito who forced himself into Yuuka's life). The characters are all very original. They are not likable, but they make the plot. Never before have I seen a character like Keito Saeki. His treatment towards our protagonist, Yuuka Tokano make him out to be a devil in human form. In contrast, Yuuka is an angel in human form. Despite the horrible things he did to her, she survives it all and does not seek revenge. Instead, she shows compassion to her enemy. I was unimpressed with the final arc of the story (post-climax). Here, there is an abrupt change in Keito's (the former antagonist) character without a chance for development. Then enters Keito's half sister, the new antagonist. I felt that this story could have been written better in many ways, but I enjoyed it regardless. Currently, English scanalations have ceased. The raws are fully released online.

Dakara Ore ni Shina yo review
Story:
It moved way too fast for anything to really get developed, like the romance or characters etc etc. It was also just a bunch of cliche things rolled into a book. I mean, there's a typical high school girl who is super dense and has no common sense when falling in love, the super bad play boy who is a delinquent and is interested in the girl, the long-time-no-see childhood buddy that has feelings for the main character who is also a delinquent etc etc. There's also some sexually themed chapters in this series, although they haven't really shown anything in the seven chapters that I read, which is why I would not even recommend starting to read this series in the first place. Art: The art is okay. Like any typical shoujo manga, it casts two hot boys and one pretty girl I guess. Character: There is a serious need of character development in here. As I said, all these characters are typical typical in a shoujo manga, and it's even worse that the whole story is predictable. It takes away from the readers thrill. The characters are really hard to connect to. They have no pasts, the have no distinct uniqueness to them and they were (to me) unloveable. The only thing that I felt while reading this manga is that Kanata is one poor kid. Enjoyment: I think you can tell by reading the rest of this how I fell about this manga. Overall: This manga was not worth my time. It left me with a bad taste in my mouth after reading it and it left me with a bad mood. I do warn people away with this review, but I don't discourage you to see if I know what I'm talking about. I do think that the author was trying to make this manga exciting and dramatic but she went overboard and made something that I would like to not look at again. I am sorry to the fans if I sound critical about this manga, but keep in mind that this is just one amateur reviewer out of a billion amateurs' opinion.

WHISPERS UNDER THE ROSES review
Since the story was only a chapter. There wasn't much to elaborate on, but what I like about this story is that, they give off this nostalgic feeling for me. There is a great resemblance to Strawberry Panic and I love Strawberry Panic.
The two main character really resemble Shizuma and Nagisa. Iori - sama has the same beauty like Shizuma and are under the same circumstances as Shizuma. Karin has that energetic and bubbly personality just like Nagisa. If you want to relive that Strawberry Panic moment between Shizuma/Nagisa then you should really read it and even if you don't like Shizuma/Nagisa, read it for the cuteness.

Infection review
The story, plotwise, sounds like something I wrote when I was 11. It's just so baffling bad and is nonsensical. The plot is so, I can't even explain it, it's non-existent. The only reason they try to push the story "forward" is to get to the next ecchi scene. The obstacles the MC must overcome is the most underhyped and easily solved roadblocks in manga history. An obstacle that would normally take 3 chapters to overcome in any well flushed out manga is easily overcome in a single panel, it's nonsensical to say the least. If you are looking for ecchi and some nice artwork
you'll find some enjoyment, if you're looking for anything else you might as well leave.
There are quite a few plotholes and characters that the mangaka just seemed to have forgotten about which really makes you confused as to why they were even mentioned in the first place. For example in Chapter 26 (Not spoiling anything just some nonsensical things) they suddenly mention a guy who hasn't appeared for the last 20 chapters saying that he can't be trusted, all of a sudden they are mentioning names and events that they didn't show, but simply happen like the audience is supposed to know what they are talking about. They suddenly say that xxxxx is actually a very important person for blah blah blah, and all you can think to yourself is, "wait a minute, who the fuck is xxxxx? I have absolutely no idea who this character is and you're just bringing it up out of nowhere?" With most bad mangas there are frequently pages you have to stop and re-read many times just to figure out what they're talking about or how some progression happened, this is one of those mangas. As I don't speak Japanese it might not actually be the mangaka's fault, rather the translator and proofreaders, but it doesn't matter either way because no matter who the fault is on, it's still confusing as hell.

TRANS STAR review
It's not just that the pacing is bad. It's that it spends multiple pages right of the bat on establishing how the disease works in a story that could just as easily function if a fairy came down with a gender-swap stick. Not great for a one-shot.
From there, it goes through the motions of getting the characters together via one teaching the other about feminine life. However, it leans less on "gay panic" energy, which may have been fun in this case, and leans far more on gender essentialism. The conflict isn't that she's feeling weird about maybe being bisexual; it's that she doesn't recognize her crush as who she is now and wants to change her into a "real girl" out of a sense of societal obligation. Not my bag. Art is alright, though.

Futago-tachi no Shojijou review
While I stay unsure on what to feel about the ethical implications of romance between two people who grew up thinking they were siblings, ignoring that makes the manga quite an enjoyable read.
At its core, it’s really just a simple, cute high school romance manga that provides sufficient (comedic) entertainment and cuteness for anyone into the romance genre. Beyond the romance, though, there’s the occasional wholesomeness from the twins’ friendships with others and the subtle mentions of careers and the future. The manga makes it a point to also show us glimpses of the relationship between their two friends, which is always a nice break from the main romance. Plus, good god, that art is cute as heck. Definitely an easy recommendation for a chill manga to binge. (I do look forward to whether or not it’ll pick up a semi-serious plot with regard to careers and the future, though.)

Koishikawa-san wa Nikushokukei review
I'll just get straight to it :D (minor spoiler ahead)
Story - 10 Honestly I'm not the most emotional person out there when it comes to media and fiction in general, but this manga has made me tear up a few times. It's quite light hearted most of the time but the melancholy (even if it's not meant) is so strong at points that the stupid onion cutting ninjas appear. even though it's only 17 chapters deep at the time of writing this review (eng translation) it's still quite impactful, while at the same time being very surface level? it's hard to explain but hopefully you'll understand if you give it a read :) Art - 8 The art isn't amazing but it isn't bad either, it's quite cutesy but can be used to portray scary moments. If I was to compare it to a mangaka it would be High score girl's. in High score girl it's quite cutesy n all but If you've read their other work (Misou Misou) It's used horrifically. This manga isn't nearly as brutal and I'm really only talking about one chapter where they go over Koishikawa's past Character - 9 I could go over the melancholy of Koishikawa's character again but I don't wanna sound like a broken record, most of the characters are your stereotypical cutesy middle schoolers but their still pretty loveable nonetheless. only issue so far is that there hasn't been much character development for anyone, but it doesn't really make too much of a difference (plus we're only 17 chapters in) Enjoyment - 10 Aside from Blue lock (another great manga you should check out) this is my favourite running manga, give it a read and you won't regret it, it's easy to digest and a sad read at the same time :D I hope you decided to read the manga from my review and i also hope you enjoy it! have a nice day !!!

Anata to Senya Ichiya review
I'm not even sure how I should rate this... but I guess a 5 will have to do. The stroyline in itself was pretty good. I mean, it's not original or anything, but the feel of it was there, I just think what the main female character did was way over the top. I understand this is a manga, and in these, real normal people woudn't do some of this stuff, but I'm one of those people that want their goals and the way they achieve those goals to be believable.
The over the top things the main female did just threw it all off for me, and the female rival at her work, her over the top actions were just as bad. All in all, I had a really hard time getting through this manga. Some parts were good, but most of them were just...to put it bluntly- bad.
