Resumo
Sung-Gi Jang is cursed with the persona of a complete pervert! To all his peers, he is a fiend who only hungers for women. Yet in reality, he just has terrible social skills, making him incapable of properly expressing his intentions and feelings to the women around him. On top of that, he seems to have the worst luck there can be.

This all turns around when Jae Hwang, a fellow student and good friend, witnesses Sung-Gi completely shattered and decides to help him out. What Sung does not know is that Hwang is actually a master in attracting the opposite sex—a pick-up artist!

From square one, Sung-Gi builds up his conversation and interaction skills with women through several trials and tribulations. He soon learns how much depth and finesse there is in properly conveying intimate emotions to others. As he learns about the subconscious signals sent out by people, Sung-Gi finds himself paying more and more attention to a particular girl in his class, and he puts to use the skill that he was lacking before: The Skill of Lure.

Skill of lure is a series about a loser like boy trying to not be mistaken for a pervert so he can finally get a girlfriend. So he is trained by a pickup artist and throughout the series he learns more and more skills to try and catch girls.

I mean the series is pretty funny. Especially the ones involving art style change amongst women are down right hillarious. But there is a lot of ugly humor involved as well which really just boils down to being kind of gross and unfunny. But generally speaking i think it was a pretty funny series.

Honestly though the series has of course great quality heroines. Most of the female cast are just gorgeous asthetically speaking as the most of the women are just basically the author's personal fantasy. The entire concept of the series is becoming confident and some what of a player yet at the same time when other people do it they come of as complete richards. Women are *safe* to be unlocked but its ok when the MC does because he has *good intentions*. Essentially part of this series is incredibly hypocritical.

I did like the whole getting the girl thing, becoming more confident thinking what to say etc. Some of the best moments in this series is being an utter savage at times. The main character rejecting a bitch, the heroine destroying other women due to jealousy. But these instead of being some edgy violent series its more of a subtle way and its done really well.

The romance is fine. You know get the girl thats way out of her league etc. Pretty straight forward stuff, the author didn't really pull anything interesting or unique.

There is more about this series its just not all that great. I liked some parts of the series and hot chicks are always a plus. But my issue that the heroines don't have any depth and it pulls so many half assed tropes. Like villains has sad backstory and its inserted so lazily. Other times where when the bad guy gets beaten becomes the good guy. Kare kano did a much better for making the bullies retain there personality while becoming over time much more interesting likable characters.

TLDR: Medicore despite the fun concept. 5/10

Skill of lure was one of the first manga I've started reading, over an year ago, and boy, I loved it. And still do.
I finished the manga a few months ago, but when I saw it again in a website, I just had to write a review to show my love for it.

Story (9)
Simple, though, extremely hilarious. Seriously, I've never laughed so much reading a manga like I did with this one.
It's about a guy that often ends up in situations that cause misunderstandings and make women think of him as a perv. Cliché right? Well, yeah, but it's still better than those harem perv clichés, because this one is well done and believable.
Later on, a friend of his starts giving him lessons to get a woman. How to handle'em, smooth talk and shit like that, I tried to learn too, but if I did, I wouldn't be here writing this crap, would I?
The MC, then, starts using these lessons to stop embarrassing himself and get this beautiful girl named Sena. If you want more, hell, read the manga.

Art (10)
I fucking love the art on this manhwa, it's gorgeous and funny when it has to be. The expressions are priceless, funny and extremely detailed like no other.

Character (9)
You just have to love Sunbae.
All characters are charismatic and just great. Lol. Just don't expect some psychological perspective or some deep shit like that, Skill of Lure is a romantic comedy and it knows what it is and does it well.
The 3 main characters are all likable, and the ones that are annoying, do a good job at it.

Enjoyment (10)
No heavy content with psychological analysis and dark surprising twists in the story. It's simple and fun.
If you want to feel happy and have a good laugh, look no further, Skill of Lure is THE manga for that.

Overall (10)
Skill of Lure is a great example of cliché done right. It uses an overused concept and makes the best of it. The best of the best.
So now I've said it all and said it again, and what are you doing here? Do yourself a favor and read Skill of Lure this instant.

This was the only manga that i was able to re read many times and still enjoy it the same. If you haven't read it yet, I highly suggest you to read it!

Story(10):
The story is pretty simple. It's about a guy named Sung-Gi Jang, who often has incidents where he is mistaken for being a pervert. Sung-Gi goes to a school that specializes in university entrance. There he has a friend named Jae Sunbae. Jae Sunbae helps Sung-Gi to learn the skill of seduction or you could call it skill of lure. That is pretty much, Jae Sunbae gives some lessons to Sung-Gi and the story unfolds. I don't want to say anything more in case you haven't read the manga yet.

Art(10):
The art was just perfect for me. Just the style i like, it was colorful, the scenes gave the feeling the author wanted to give.

Character(10):
Now for the characters, our protagonist Sung-Gi starts of a little bit weak, but steadily he becomes more cool.
Jae Sunbae or Kaiser Hwang is the MVP of this series. It is almost impossible not to like the guy. He starts off dynamically and continues to do so until the end of the series. Another plus for this guy is that the scenes where he gives his lessons he is drawn so well and the lines he has are also awesome, so yeah he is pretty epic.

Enjoyment(10):
Personally enjoyed this series to the fullest. I've read this series many times as i said in the introduction and still enjoy it the same every time i read it. I can even say that every time i re read it i enjoy it even more!

Overall(10):
This series is short but the story, the portrayed feelings, the character development is delivered so well, it is almost a given you will enjoy it! I highly recommend this series, it's short and it if you have some free time on your hands give it a go!

Before reading this manhwa up to the latest chapter at this point in time (from chapter 1 to 29 in a few hours), I would never have believed anyone if they told me I would like it this much. You probably thought the same way after reading the synopsis. And who could blame you? A story about a guy who constantly gets labeled as a pervert because of random awkward situations (like tripping and faceplanting someone's boob), and his struggle to grow from a clumsy wimp to an alpha male capable of picking any girl up. It sounded like something that could give a giggle from time to time, but I really couldn't imagine that a manhwa originated from such a simple idea could develop such an amazing story that constantly keeps you wanting for more, not being able to drop it for a second.

Story: 9/10

So, as it can be concluded from the summary, the main character (Jang Sung-Gi) is a clumsy guy who constantly gets into awkward situations. Not only is he clumsy, but he is also socially awkward and unable to express himself with words in the right way. After he meets his "mentor", who is another student just like him, but with a lot of experience as a "pick up master", his path to becoming one himself starts. The mentor provides "lessons" that help him change from a complete know-nothing boy to a real man.

I loved how deep the author's understanding of human interactions goes. As someone that takes pride in his interpersonal intelligence and has a decent chunk of knowledge about manipulation methods, I have found myself saying "wow, that is exactly how it is" many, many times. Every "lesson" really is something that works in the real world, although (of course) the situations in the manhwa are sometimes aligned to suit the specific lesson.

So, if you are someone like me, who has knowledge about those things, you'll probably also feel the author has done his research. If you are, on the other hand, someone without as much knowledge, you will definitely be able to learn a lot.

It is really surprising how easily the story keeps flowing and becoming more and more interesting with each chapter.

Art: 10/10

Art for this manhwa is straight up amazing, but not only because the character designs are beautiful. The most important reason are the facial expressions that portrait the emotions extraordinarily well. In the comical moments (which there are plenty of), you will probably sometimes find yourself laughing histerically only because of one of those.

Characters: 10/10

As it is obvious, this manhwa revolves around the main character's progression as a person. However, as the manhwa goes on, some other characters get almost as much development as Jang Sung-Gi. Not much can be said without spoiling, so I'll just say that the characters are very logical and believable, and their actions never feel out of place. Also, the characters are extremely lovable. They really grew on me, and I found myself rooting for them in clutch situations many times.

Enjoyment: 10/10

I never would've dreamed that a random manhwa I clicked on would bring me so much joy. This immediatelly skyrocketed into my top 5 favorites after chomping all existing chapters in a few hours. This is one of those that always leaves a smile on your face after reading, but not only because it is funny (although I did send links of a few funny moments to some people, after nearly dying of laughter), but because it leaves some kind of a strange satisfying feeling in you after each story.

Overall: 10/10

I strongly recommend this. Go read a couple of chapters, and be amazed how such a simple idea grows to an amazing piece of work.

Is there a Magna Carta that guides you how to attract women? What makes you an Alpha Male different to others? Does a man need a skill to lure women? Do you want to know secrets behind picking up women? Why don't you read it and find out.

Story
The story was amazing. Our main character, Jang, Sung-Gi is always getting labelled as a pervert thanks to the accidents he gets into. From groping women to landing on weird position. He doesn't meant it! He's innocent! As chapters go along, Jang progresses to prevent himself from being called a pervert learning trades and secrets on how to steal a women's heart. Don't get me wrong he isn't a f*ck boy or anything. You will love seeing his progress as you go along.

Art
I think it might just be me but the art really expressed several emotions, you can feel the expressions from the characters. The art was detailed, our manwha artist really put all the effort in to make this.

Character
Firstly, I want to say give Sun-bae a medal! Give him the MVP, give him the Nobel Peace Prize- or something similar prize. He is one of the best character I seen so far in my life. He guides our main character Jang to glory and success. Trust me you'll love him-no homo. You will love to have him as a friend or brother. Apart from the 'Best Character' our other two main character featured are really have funny expression and represent most of the comedy the manwha has to offer. The rest of the characters you'll find interesting as well.

Enjoyment
I read it all in a day. It was simply enjoyable- I couldn't stop reading. I should be revising for my exam, but I had to finish it no matter what now I am writing review... Sun-bae made me go 'whoa, so cool!'. Character conversation or narrations goes too detailed, so you don't really get bored.

Overall, I would definitely recommend you this manwha because this will pull you in and make read it until you reach the very last chapter. I have no regrets I must say! Except the fact I had it as favourite for 2 years and didn't read until today... Now I guess I lure some girls in- just kidding! I personally think the manwha teaches you how to be a better man! Be like be Sun-bae!

Thanks for reading my review, sorry for wasting you time. I mean rather than reading this shouldn't you be reading the manwha...?

This is the most satisfying Manwha I have ever read! And it's also really hard to write a proper review of it, that can explain how great it is.

Skill of Lure is incredible. The synopsis does give the wrong impression about the whole thing. Combine that with the cover picture and the ecchi tag and you might think that's it's just about horny dudes picking up chicks left, right and center. But don't judge a book by its cover, as ●REC masterfully showed us.

The story is a little hard to explain. It's about our main character "Jang Sung-Gi" who is labeled as a pervert, since he keeps falling, over and over again, straight into a women's breasts, or between their legs... It's your typical harem ecchi that's in mostly every manga nowadays.

Please DON'T drop it just yet, since it's only the first few chapters that play out like that. We're only scratching the surface here folks.

Story: 9/10

Jang Sung-Gi (our main character) is friends with a guy, no... A BRO named Hwang-Jae. He wears gym clothes and is generally a goof. But what out main character doesn't know (in the beginning at least) is that he is a pickup-artist, who is eloquent, charming and is overall a great guy. Hwang Jae helps Jang Sung-Gi with his nonexisting love life, by giving him lessons in the art of seduction.

Art: 9/10

Unlike manga, most (if not every) manhwa is in color. The art portraits the characters emotions really well. From the funny moments where they're goofing off in Hwang Jae's room, to the serious moments where Hwang Jae teaches the many lessons to Jang Sung-Gi. The art is light and can get fluffy from time to time.

Characters: 10/10

This is a character driven manhwa. And a damn good one at that. I literally found myself shoving my arms into the air, shouting "YES! YES! FUCK YEAH DUDE! YES!" on several occations.
The interactions between the characters are golden. The fucking character development is legendary. Jang Sung-Gi starts out as the jumpy, self-aware, nervous person who lacks self-confidence but turns into the person we all want to be. He learns how to believe in himself and gets closer to the person he loves.
Hwang-Jae, you can't help but love him. He's a very charming dude, knows how to sweet talk (in the good way!) the ladies and is a fan-fucking-tastic bro! Through the manhwa, he becomes the wingman that we all want.

Enjoyment: 10/10

Why is it a 10/10 I hear you ask. Because it all pays of in the end! Every single lesson Hwang-Jae teaches Jang Sung-Gi (our main character in case you forgot) is used. Every little trick is utilized in more than one way. Something that he learned in chapter 5 is used in the most critical situation in a later chapter. You feel for the characters. You don't want to see the main character heartbroken since some douche NTR'd his crush. You rejoice and celebrate when things go right for the MC. You smile and giggle when you see that the main heroine slowly starts to realize that she like the MC. You take notes as Hwang-Jae teaches great things.

Overall: 9/10

It's a fantastic manga. Every character, every twist, turn and event. Every lesson has been made to be remembered by the reader.

I simply can not recommend this enough.
