Houkago Bitchcraft review
Its ecchi, first and foremost. Kindof similar to highschool dxd, it uses weird angles and shows the MC's underwear and cleavage at random times and as frequently as possible. The artwork is well done but it feels like theres not all that much of it. It seemed shorter than it really was and only took me an hour and a half or so to read. The characters aren't especially sophisticated but they are definitely entertaining, and after only 1 volume, its hard to criticize. Its definitely not going to change your life, but if you're into something like highschool dxd, you'd probably enjoy this series
as well. Its good, not great. But i'll continue with the series as more volumes come along.

Sexless Friend review
This manga is a nice little story, due to the lack of chapters the characters don't get a lot of development, it was going in a very nice direction but I believe the author opted for an unexpected ending. The ending in my opinion kills the series due to the lack of development that path received, so he should have kept the expected route. Even having an ending I didn't like a lot, this is not a bad manga, nice little romance to read in your free time.

Sadosuto na Fujiwara-kun review
Sadosuto na Fujiwara-kun is a wholesome, enjoyable manga about a guy who was raised with a sadistic host-like attitude, causing difficulties in saying what he really means and many misunderstandings.
The characters go very well together, too - we have the fake-sadistic Fujiwara-kun, of course, a real sadist, lovesick yankee, ESP best friend, self-admiring student council president, and more. I don't understand the low score, it has smooth art that is really pleasing to the eye, and it gave me quite a few laughs. Overall an enjoyable series and I wholeheartedly wish it hadn't been axed. Story & Characters- 7 and 8, respectively Unfortunately the story and the characters haven't had much of a chance to develop due to its quite early cancellation, so there isn't a lot to say about these. I really love the characters and their different personalities, plus how they interact with eachother. Art - 9 Overall - 8/10

Himitsu no Reptiles review
To follow up on NinjaMushi's excellent review which you should absolutely read if you're considering reading this abomination of a manga, here are some more things Himitsu no Reptiles gets wrong:
1. handling amphibians without washing hands with dechlorinated water: amphibians like frogs absorb chemicals including water (but also including deadly toxins) through their skin so before holding them it is IMPERATIVE that you spritz your hands down with dechlorinated water lest you risk transferring some dangerous chemicals into their bodies. 2. saying adult pacman frogs can live in a 7x10 inch container: no. adults need at LEAST a 10 gallon aquarium, and bigger is better. 3. not even giving pacman frogs loose substrate to burrow in: this one just hurt my heart. horned frogs LOVE to burrow almost as much as they love food (more on that in a sec) and putting them on a mat for their entire life is just abuse. it's a totally natural behavior for them and they should be allowed to express it. 4. not even providing the frogs with hiding spots: jesus christ how wrong can you get? just a fake plant would've sufficed. 5. saying the frogs can live on preprepared foods: aaaaand this might be the worst one. frogs need INSECTS. LIVE INSECTS. just like the geckos. it can have the paste foods as like an occasional treat like it can have fish and pinkies as treats, but its staple diet needs to be gut loaded, calcium/vitamin-dusted INSECTS. sorry, gujira. so in conclusion i pray to god nobody reads this manga and thinks reptiles are actually this easy, buys one, uses this as a care sheet, abuses it, and winds up killing it. thank you for reading.

Rengoku no Karma review
Suicide is a topic that, while included in narrative quite often, is not often the focus. Those few times when it is, more often than not, the story follows the character in the events leading up to their suicide rather than what happens to the character after. And honestly, most of the time when the focus IS on what happens after the suicide, it is not well done. This is one of those cases.
To be fair, this manga is actually quite interesting. The events that the protagonist goes through in his own little Purgatory are surprising and at times exciting and it does a pretty good job of holding its readers' interest. As well, the art, though nothing special, is consistently good. The characters, for the most part, are quite flat at trope-ish, but that's quite normal in this kind of manga. The problem I have with this series is a problem I have as someone who has dealt with suicidal ideation for the majority of my life and has helped other people work through their own suicidal thoughts. Because this series focuses on how much OTHERS are negatively affected by someone's suicide which, as most people who have been suicidal can tell you, is not as original one might think and is very much not a good thing for suicidal people to see. Suicidal people KNOW that their potential suicide will have a negative affect on others, it's not something we're completely oblivious to, and trying to write a narrative of "LOOK AT WHAT YOU'VE DONE WITH YOUR SELFISH ACTION" honestly comes across as very ignorant of what people experiencing depression go through. The idea of having to "redeem" yourself after suicide is harmful and tired and works more towards further guilting people going through an extremely painful mental illness rather than taking any steps to try to help them. This takes an even bigger step down as the story focuses on the protagonist having to try to save people who abused him and directly lead to his suicide. To summarize, Rengoku no Karma is interesting but, as a suicide survivor, it leaves a very bitter taste in my mouth.

Koi x Kagi review
Story: 5/10
After her parents die, she gets passed around from relative to relative, until she ends up in a home with a boy around her age named Subaru. Everything went by so fast, I read the first chapter and everything basically was laid out. The rest of the manga was just pointless drama. The one-shots just made me so confused, one chapter isn't enough and the author should have just continued with the story Koi x Kagi rather than making up those one-shots. Art: 7/10 Cute art, nothing wrong with it. Characters: 5/10 The girl is always being comforted and she is very annoying. Meanwhile, the boy is just your typical male protagonist - popular, kind etc. Enjoyment/Overall: 6/10 It would have been much more enjoyable if they paced it better.

Fukushuu wo Koinegau Saikyou Yuusha wa, Yami no Chikara de Senmetsu Musou suru review
Overall: 8/10
It's a fantastic mindless revenge manga. It has no depth or meaningful story or anything, but that's fine. If you're going to like this, it's probably not for those reasons anyway. There's lots of revenge and it's highly satisfying. No neckbeard BS either. Character: 6.5/10 The hero is a nutcase and both he and the author know it. The villains are ridiculously evil to the point where you feel they actually deserve what's coming to them (which would otherwise be incredibly excessive). It's very satisfying to watch him f*ck them up in messed up ways. Not exactly the height of good writing, but quite fun. Enjoyment: 9/10 I like revenge mangas so this is very fun to read. Don't read it if you're not into seeing people tortured creatively; if that's the case, there is not much in this series for you. Art: 9/10 The art is really good. The artist nails the "unhinged" look, which is important, and the art is clean and smooth. The protagonist looks amazing. Story: 6.5/10 Not much story here except revenge and more revenge. It's like for each arc, the author thought of something edgy, and then thought of a way to make it edgier, and kept on doing that until they had an extremely edgy setup. I'll give points for sheer creativity in edge, but it's got practically nothing else. Still, it avoids being boring or annoying in any way, which is respectable.

Dog Style review
Mod Note: This review was originally written for Kanaete Aizen (Manga) but the entry has since been merged into Dog Style.
Though this is a very short story only being 2 chapters long, but I did enjoy it, when i started reading it i wasnt expecting much, i just aimed to see what it was about. You learn enough about the main 2 characters, and I personally enjoyed the theme, I thought it was nice. There was hardly any romance inside it other then Kanou finding out who he loves, but after reading it, I think that it doesnt matter that there is hardly any romance, it works well in the story. If you enjoy short storys with small romance I would suggest this, even though its very short I'm glad i read it because it was sweet. Also if the fact it says its "Ecchi" in the genres starts to make you wonder not to bother reading, I can clearly say the Ecchi-ness is very low and shouldn't be worried about.

Boku wa Imouto ni Koi wo Suru review
*SPOILER ALERT*
Never done a review before, and normally I would format it a bit better but I can't be bothered since it wasn't really worth my time reading 49/58 chapters thus so far. The only reason I read it was because I thought it was this manga I read a long time ago, but it didn't turn out to be and I thought I'd at least finish it. I thought I'd at least write a review to get a different opinion out there. Albiet, this is a work of fiction, it's still incest and I believe it should be taken seriously, so here is a real, serious, review. Story - The synopsis on this site isn't too far off, fortunately, but it should be noted that this is not a love story. This is traditional smut, expect the characters to make excuses to have sex, expect the story to twist and turn, and lose original path to make sure there's sex. Art - 7/10. It's mediocre, typical shoujo Character - Iku, our "heroine", is a mary sue. Like most shoujo, she lacks a lot of character, though she does show some during comedic moments, but that's all she's for really. I had a hard time relating to her, because her dynamic was completely non-existent. Everyone else was fine, minus Tomoka-chan, the rival girl. She's your typical stupid rival butting her way between the main couple, I do feel sorry for her that Yori did use her, but she goes overboard, like most of the awful rivals. She never really gets the tables turned on her, and her problems never really get resolved. Overall - I probably sound like a hard critic. I guess what bothers me most about the manga is that all this started because they 'loved each other'. But they don't really. They make all this commotion, all this fuss, even going to the extent to lie, hurt, and cheat other people, all over lust. This is not a touching story of a boy accidently falling for his younger sister, and wanting to desperately confess and cherish her. It is not a story of a boy accidently interpretting his sibling love as real love. This is a 'relationship' built on lust. In the beginning, when Yori describes what attracted him to Iku it was near poetic, such, it would have been if it weren't incest. But that all was completely thrown out the window once they began to touch each other. They craved touch, there was no real love outside a deep sibling love. In Chapter "43", Yori states: "The reason I left that house is because my parents would've figured it out soon if I'd stayed with Iku. In that case, we wouldn't be able to be together anymore. I didn't want to see that happen, so I at least wanted to protect ourselves by staying apart. And yet, -chuckle-, how ironic, only two months and even my mom already noticed. Ah, After all, what was I trying so hard for... In the end I.. In my eyes, I can see the ending of this love." Then, he bursts into tears. He states that he worked hard, but he defiantly broke the rules of the dorm, thus getting himself caught. The couple didn't even try to sneakingly hide it at all. They say that when you commit a sin, the punishment is the sin itself. Meaning, certain sins have a punishment built into them. For example, having sex. The night they committed a taboo, for Iku, the sin was becoming attached to Yori. She may have already loved him, but that attachment grew after they committed that act. They may already have been attached at the hip as siblings, but Iku did not have a complete dependancy on Yori. After they had sex, she only looked at him. It was like her existence relied on him being around, craving him and his touch. It's sickening to see such a potential of a character just being tossed under the bus. Expect her to consistently be extremely annoying. All in all, I guess I'd rate this a 5/10. Read it, only, if you're looking for baseless characters, eyecandy and the like.
