Resumo
Kazunari Usa's dream to live away from his parents is fulfilled when they allow him to move into an old boarding house called Kawai Complex. With his landlady providing him meals and his parents covering his rent, Kazunari finally achieves the peaceful life he longs for, as he is ready to enter his first year at high school. Or so it seems...

Upon moving into the boarding house, Kazunari finds out that he has to share a room with resident masochist Shirosaki. He must also live under the same roof as Mayumi Nishikino, a drunkard with a hopeless love life, and Sayaka Watanabe, a seemingly innocent college student. Although he is surrounded by these unique characters, Kazunari still counts himself lucky to be living in the same building as Ritsu Kawai, a second-year student he has a crush on.

As Kazunari settles into the boarding house, he soon realizes that the inhabitants of Kawai Complex are bound to add a twist to the life he has been hoping to live.

Living in this world we meet a lot of ppl, some of them are those who we like while some are we don't. Some of them are ppl we want to stay forever with and some of them are that we just want to get rid of them somehow. "Fate" is a just a word and an abstract noun for some of us,but for some, it's not. For some,Fate is the thing which made them who they are today and fate also decided the ppl they get to be with today. This manga portrayed the word"Fate" and how it can affect others life. In this manga,we see the life of a simple high school boy named "Usa" who wants to have a mediocre life and in that mediocre life he wants to spend time with a beautiful girlfriend. Now,in the first chapter, we see that, cuz of "Fate". He sees his ideal girlfriend reading a book in library. It was love at first sight for him. After that we find,he has a to live in a boarding place, known as"The kawaii complex". At first he thinks that it's a pretty nice place, but soon after he learns that his roommate is a weird person. He thinks of leaving the place but the next thing he gets to know is that the girl he saw in the library also lives there. After our manga starts and in these 94chapters we also get to know other admirable characters who are introduced later in this series, with whom we can relate somehow. In the manga,we read from the perspective of the Male MC which is not very often in shoujo Manga. The Male MC is a nice, loving, caring but sometimes awkward person who has some weird fetishes but still a respectable person. For the female MC,in the start, she's shown as a loner who's only interest is reading. As we get to read the manga,we get to know about their life in the kawaii complex and the problems they face as a couple and as the whole kawaii complex family. The best thing I liked about it was that,it wasn't cliche type, like other typical Romance manga, the events were those that someone like me who reads shoujo and Romance manga, couldn't have expected xD. It was a really nice, heartwarming, wholesome read. I didn't get bored for a single chapter and binged it even tho I'm having exams rn xD. Also, there wasn't a single kiss(they didn't show it) till the end of the chapter(in their college life). I'd recommend it to u even if u r new to romance, shoujo or even if u have read them before cuz ik that it'll be a thing for u. The plot and the characters may seem typical at first but as we get to read the manga,we get to know about them, their personalities and other problems. Tho it was a pure SoL but still it was pure fantasty, I dunno much about the author but I think this story wasn't reality based. So yea, u should expect some things we get to see in every romance manga but still, I'm sure this'll be quite an unexpected and a new thing for u to read.

Bokura wa Minna Kawai-sou... First of all, I have to say, what a refreshing read. Heartwarming wholesome romance, hilarious comedy accompanied by beautiful and fitting art. I personally enjoyed every second of it.

Art
Every character is drawn according to their personalities, which is a nice cherry on top of the character design. This manga is pretty heavy on comedy, and the use of chibi art style is more than fitting. I’d say the art forms 70 % of the comedy in this particular manga. And if you’re looking for some cute wifus, the kawai complex presents plenty, especially close ups of certain female character’s facial expressions will make your heart skip a beat (mostly Rit-chan’s).

Story
Even though I said Kawai-sou is a wholesome romance manga, it doesn’t shy away from showing some adult or ecchi topics, like masochism, alcoholism, sex, or women hunting for man, just to show superiority. However, it portrays these topics in a comedic way, and it’s not trying to overwhelm you with some pointless drama. It’s not trying to be deep, it just wants you to enjoy the ride. The main “couple” goes through a lot of character development over the series, and the relationship development is natural and realistic. The key reason why I enjoyed it so much is the chemistry between its side characters. None of the main side characters feel like they’re left out of conversations, and because of their unique personalities, every single one of them has something funny to say, giving every conversation a nice twist. The only “complaint” I have is about the ending. Don’t get me wrong, it’s good, but I feel like it was a missed opportunity, to have this long build up, and then just end it with a one panel, but that just might be my opinion.

Characters
I said a lot about the characters in the previous paragraphs, so I’ll keep it simple. Characters were realistic, unique, and thoroughly thought through. The chemistry between them was the best thing about the whole manga.

Overall
The only reason why I didn’t give it 10/10 is the slight disappointment hidden in the ending (it was really slight, don’t get discouraged to read it. It was still a good ending), and mostly because I haven’t read a lot of manga, so I don’t have much comparison material. However, I’m sure I’ll come back some day, and give this manga the righteous 10/10. If you want something easy and heartwarming, definitely give it a read. Trust me, you won’t regret it.

I'll tell you the truth, I enjoyed reading it. But it was not interesting enough for me to actually want to read it outside of the dead hours at work.

The manga is not exactly bad, it's just very very boring. It's hard to stay focused on it unless you're really bored with nothing else to do (and for some reason I wanted to stick until the end, well, I heard it had a good ending that's worth sticking for).

The story is very poor. Nothing happens. NOTHING. I wish I could tell you what happened in the manga but I just don't remember. There weren't many eventful situations that gave a boost to the progress of the story. Everything progressed as slowly as One Piece's anime on 0.5x speed.

That was until a few chapters before the end, where all the cards were revealed on the table.

Even after all the struggle, the ending wasn't... as good as people made it out to be. It closed some corners but...

Who the hell brings a very side character at the very end of the manga and focuses on her instead of our main characters Usa and Ricchan? Geez.

The characters themselves were pathetic, but since they at least were diverse in shticks I kinda liked it... It dragged on for way too long though.

The masochist, the woman with no luck in men and curses everything related to love, the one who likes messing with people and ruining them...

And then there's Usa the pervert who likes senpai, video games and books (93 chapters and that's all I can tell about him).

Ritsu was quite developed, she has come a long way, and luckily she got quite a lot of time in the manga to see her truly shine. She was still a pain in the ass many times though, it made me want to tear some hairs.

The art was beautiful though, drawn well and represented the best scenes super well.

7/10 Thanks for passing me time in the office.

Bokura wa Minna Kawai-sou is the kind of manga that will catch a reader's attention in the first few chapters itself. It manages to live up to the expectations of people who have seen the anime adaptation and come to the manga looking for more. It's a Slice of Life so the main plot progresses at its own pace, but you'll never find yourself getting bored of it. There's always something entertaining going on at the Kawai complex.

The story itself isn't something extraordinary. It's a tale of 6 people - 4 adults and 2 students, each having their own eccentric personalities - living in the same housing complex. What makes the manga special is the way the chemistry between the characters works. Their daily interactions make your heart flutter and make you chuckle, also managing to make you laugh out loud at times. The tone of the manga is consistent throughout - you'll often find yourself smiling as you read the chapters - and it's hard to stop reading once you get attached to the characters, which is bound to happen sooner than later.

The romance between the main couple is the driving aspect of the story, and the fact that it gets proper closure is something to look forward to. No one wants to be left hanging when it comes to ships, right? Every character has a role to play, and the way their personalities have been written is what causes the comedy to work very well. They all compliment and play off each other, making it an amusing read.

Being a character-driven story, it's interesting to see how each characters' quirks, habits and back-stories are revealed as the story progresses, adding newer comedic elements for the readers to look forward to. There are several running gags in the manga, like Shiro's masochism, Sayaka's phobias and how her bare-face is always covered in mosaic, Chinatsu's pseudo-sadism, Usa's makeup phobia and Mayumi's hate for innocent, pure romance.

The lead couple - Ritsu and Usa - form an adorable pair. While Usa's character doesn't change all that much, watching Ritsu's character develop and open up to Usa is a heart-fluttering experience which leaves you wanting for more. It happens very naturally and realistically, one of the reasons I consider the romance to be great. There are no accidental panty shots or boob grabs which would cause the characters to blush uncontrollably - no, had that been the case, I wouldn't be here writing this review. It is simple and innocent, without much drama involved. The side characters are like a cherry on top of the cake and their appearances are something to look forward to - they play a major role in furthering the romance.

The art is very clean and appealing. Panels featuring a single character look especially great, since the mangaka goes all out with the details. My favorite panels are the ones featuring Ritsu blushing. The mangaka did an incredible job at making her look enchanting in those panels, and I often found myself coming back to look at particular panels to admire the artwork. (#TopTierWaifuMaterial)

Overall, I think it's a great read. It's oblivious to reality however, so don't go about comparing the manga to your real life since that could possibly send you spiraling into several days of melancholy.

Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou is a high school rom-com series aimed for mature audience. However, essentially the manga is a story about Ritsu Kawai, the love interest of our main character.

The entire story heavily relies on Ritsu's character and character development -- taking things like love and romance as nothing but part of ones life. This approach is already interesting as to most romance writers, there don't seem to be all that much else to romance stories than narrative driving cliches and the romantic feelings.

Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou goes in-depth with the love interests personal life, thoughts and overall personality there where so many others follow the philosophy "do you even need a reason to love someone?" This time, our author shows that even if you do not need such things, those things exist in great numbers.

Simply liking someone is not enough in this story. Rather, it shows how much it takes to fully understand other person, who they are and how to be with them. Just to quote Damien Rice: "It takes a lot to give, to ask for help. To be yourself, to know and love what you live with." A thought that is very relevant and accurate in this manga.

Overall, while this series relies somewhat to the typical on off thing where characters ponder and try to accept their feelings. To give their confession and hook together and conclude the story with what is expected of it, the route is not superficial nor shallow, but the trip creates a strong belief to its reader that this romance will last.

Bokura wa Minna Kawai-sou is a Manga that is very appealing to someone who is searching for a Rom-Com Manga without too much Drama thrown in.
The story is somewhere between fair and good most of the time. It´s nothing too special, and nothing you have never read before. It´s presentation though is pretty decent and the balance between romance and comedy but also between school and slice of life is really well done overall.
To see Usa sometimes pushing too hard to get closer to his love interest, sometimes pushing not hard enough, and sometimes exactly right, and the interfering of the rest of the cast is really interesting. The relationship between the Protagonist and his love interest is just adorable.

The art is good and there is not much for me to say about it.

Characters such as Sayaka, Usa or Shiro are nothing new. The Characters overall are decent, stereotypical characters. The dynamic between them though is really, really well made, and the way how the interact with each other is always an amusement. Overall a fair set of well presented but average characters.

To sum it all up, the story the art and the characters are all not bad, but also nothing amazing. The way how they interact with each other, the way how relationships are presented, how the story grabs you always exactly at the right time makes this Manga an amusing enjoyment, that is nothing too special but really well made and nicely presented. The relationship and the interactions of the characters is just adorable all in all.
As an overall score for this review, I give it a 7.

I am apologizing for my English, I am German and my English is not my native language.

Bokura wa Minna Kawai-sou was the first manga I ever read . The content in itself is pretty hilarious. I wouldn't recommend it for the romance as it is very slow and quite generic in nature. The enjoyment comes from the fact how the 6 people (2m 4f) sharing a complex along with the various side characters bring forward a story that makes you laugh through the smaller moments that we generally forget to cherish . Although I have read the manga so many times that I can recount all incidents perfectly in chronological order ,it is really so good that I wouldn't refuse reading it again

Story:the story is pretty good. While the romance is pretty slow and is quite generic in nature the other aspects of the story more than makes up for it.I personally feel that compared to the rest of the manga the ending was pretty rushed and could have been much better. The sub plots were quite well written and makes use of the quirky character to its fullest.

Art: normal art ,not bad, have seen better.

Character:much of the enjoyment in the story comes from the way the characters are presented .It wouldn't be improper to say that the story itself stand on the framework built by the characters.A quick introduction and a no non sense character description makes sure that each gag and subplot can be related to their personality.Though on reflection i must also say that it would have been better if the same could be done foe the side characters as well.

Enjoyment:I have personally never seen such comedy being pulled off without any sexual reference( sexual references are not absent ...just few in number) .In terms of comedy there is only on other manga that was able to make me laugh more than this(Grand Blue).

All in all I would say that this is the perfect thing to read if you want to relax and enjoy some good comedy . Definitely worth the time.
