Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet review
*It's been ages since the last time i write a review so please bear with me lol

As an avid one-shot manga reader. I always crave for a one-shot which will give enjoyment to me. And then i stumbled "Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet"
First i thought it's a typical rom-com manga like Nisek**, well really it is like that, the general scenario is somewhat similar to Nisek**.

Story : 7
The story is simple and plain, two-factions that are rivals and have a grudge on each other is the hindrance to the love of protagonist. Like i say earlier, this is somewhat similar to a certain manga. *cough cough teamtsugumi.

Art : 8
The art is very good, as i read many one-shot there are only few of them with remarkable art. The female protagonist looks cute. I enjoyed staring at each page for atleast 1 minute per page

Character : 7
The character development is not present, well it's because it is a ONE-SHOT . However you can enjoy what they already have.

Enjoyment : 8
Argh... From the start until the end of reading this. I have this little smile in my face. I really enjoyed reading this one because of it's very light to read. I don't need to comprehend any complicated things because the story itself is very light and easy to follow. The Comedy may be cliched but it still manage to put smile on my face. A story like this can shift my mood from depress to happy. I like reading those kind of manga that can make its reader happy.

Overall : 7
Overall it's worth it to read. If you want something short and light with few romance and comedy. You may actually enjoy reading this one-shot.

Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet review
this is a one shot is 42 pages and not a complete series but i hope people come to like this manga as it is very interesting, its story isn't as original as other distinguished mangas but its takes on from a good classic, Romeo and Juliet, it kinda set's itself apart with its funny scenes and small cast, it is a one shot with a refreshing story and be warned this is only my second review but my first didn't come out bad

Story: like i said before its not original but it uses this to its advantage, i cant really say much because it was a one shot but as someone who enjoyed it i can say it was very well done Low 8 but an 8

Art: the art is real nice, the lines are clear, there bolded nicely, the bubbles are where they are suppose to be, shading and thinning are good too i give it a high 9 nothing much i can say i've seen some poorly drawn mangas not gonna read those until they sharpen up

Characters: they are cool and memorable but they need that PAZAM to set them apart, some of the back ground characters have this PAZAM, thats why i do think they should introduce more into this small cast of only 2 but im not saying the MC's are bad, the two MC's are awesome, the idea of love is dead if their families dont see eye to eye isn't original but in this case they would really die if their families did find out if their relationship was found out thats why the 2 MC's personalities and characteristics go well together and thats why i gave it a good mid 8

-MC Inudzuka: Boss of the touwa family, his character is the male love interest, he has esteemed combat abilities as per being the leader of his family and is really honorable and commendable if this One shot does become a series i wish they dont change his character

-MC Persia: Boss of the Britain group, she has strength comparable to that of Inudzuka, she seems regal like any princess type of boss out there though she is awesome but if anything i would change her character a bit dont know how but she needs a bit

Enjoyment: other than the funny scenarios the couple ends up in to hide their relationship, i would like to see more action scenes or drama, it is a one shot of course but im just saying what i'd like to see, middle 7

Overall: This manga really is an interesting one, it has all the fundamentals to become a next hit manga, the drama, the romance, the action, the throwing your gf into the pool moments, its very good, the only reason im giving it an 8 is because it was too damn short, i wish there was more, i might exaggerate a bit but when there are already hype anime battle anime out there, there should be one sweet manga you can go to this manga would be the one, for its comedy, hilarious romance, and pr esteem art i gave it like i said before and mid 8 out of 10 thank you and i hope you give this a good read and give a shout out to Kanade Yousuke for his nice One Shot

Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet review
Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet (2015-2019)

A School setting for effectively Romeo and Juliet. HOWEVER, in this version of events things are played out in a modern world with old ideals (Random Sword fights to settle things). The story doesn't involve the sacrifice of death but shows a more social-political version of trying to change the status quo for a better future of understanding.

During the most part the Romio (Adapted name) from the East in black uniform and Juliet from the West in White uniform go to the academy on an island that separates the two areas which is a false yet unyielding symbol of unity after much conflict. Students attend from a very young age all the way to finishing college and are expected from their childhoods to dislike the each other in a black vs white (Not skin colour but uniform) conflict.

Romio and Juliet have grown up together but separately at the same time. They however harbor feelings for each other which in the Manga like the Anime is quickly realised. The relationship must be kept secret going forwards to avoid getting pushed out the school. Although in theory there is nothing wrong with the situation as you will learn past transgression of previous students has had disastrous results in this type of situation.

As the series goes on they learn about each other deeply and all the people around them. Some people find out the secret and are convinced for the best to keep it secret. It comes to a head eventually where a decisive choice must be made by the students in an attempt to change the world. This comes to a decision that involves them going forward with their decision. After many altercations things improve in some ways.

Eventually, we get to a really nice ending that shows the opposite side of the Shakespearean story that is much more satisfying. We even get a time skip to help close things off.

The art used within the series is a really great level of detail with some Ecchi scenes that give a bit of a change up and truth that the real world isn't truly clean. Some people want a pure story like nothing dirty exists in the real world.

Characters are many and they are mostly (the important ones) developed with great detail and care. We learn about so many people on such a deep level that you feel you could be their friend since you know so much about them.

Aside from Romio and Juliet they are surrounded by a close knit bunch that through adversary and sometimes against their own desires do work forward sensibly to change the world. Many truths about people comes out to which some are good and some are bad. They however, in the attempt to change the world work through forgiveness and rectify the state of things as they go forward.

The series in all is extremely enjoyable and aside from a slightly rushed ending is 100% worth a read. There were moments I felt a tightness in my chest as I read what was happening. Towards the middle set and beyond times I was getting teary eyed which caused me to react. The scenes in places that filled you with a genuine joy that makes you think being in their world during this time would have been an absolute pleasure to have joined their plight.

Overall, this is an awesome series that puts you through a deep set of emotions and brings you close to the characters on many levels. It has left a long last impression on me as a reader.

I would love to see the series get a full adaptation of anime and if I could fund it I absolutely would.

If you want something similar try reading Ore ga Ojousama Gakkou ni "Shomin Sample" Toshite Rachirareta Ken. This is a really nice story about the naive world the wealthy live in being opened up to the real world in a love story that is hilarious due to its nature and also heart pounding when it needs to be that concludes in a really satisfying way.

Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet review
What I found fun about this manga is that well it's cliche, but it's a good kind of cliche, and it does enough variation on the formula and characters to make it interesting.

The manga basically is... well Rome and Juliet at a highschool, told mainly from Inudzuka Romeo's POV but while the world's not that well developed, the characters are done quite well.

Juliet Percia and Inudzuka Romeo aren't just simply rehashes of Rome and Juliet. They don't just go head over heels over one another. The manga does it's time to develop their history, develop how they fall in love, but not too long. They get the fact that they're interested in one another over with, which is very welcome. The story instead has focused on the two trying to against all odds, get to know each other better and have a normal relationship.

And despite the short number of chapters, the manga's so far actually avoided a lot of typical manga cliche traps despite the setup being cliche. It avoids the harem route, but also avoids the paragon route. There are many girls in Inudzuka's life, but while he's not 100% omg I can't even look at anybdy but Percia, he's devoted, but tempted. It's very human and good writing for a character.

It avoids Percia being a ridiculous tsundere. She is a bit tsundere, but it's an understandable shyness and awkwardness that comes from the fact that she and Inudzuka used to fight a lot.

It also avoids the "liar reveal everything goes terrible" trope. Inudzuka's not an idiot. Well, he is in some ways, but he has friends who don't do heel face turns once they find out.

All in all, the characters are good, the story is fun, a good manga.

Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet review
Don't expect a very good/detailed review from me, this is my first ever review and I only do this because of how much I love Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet.

I have been reading this manga for a few years now, and now seeing it end, i can't rate it anything under a 10 out of 10.
I first read it while it only have about 20 to 30 chapters and from that point onward I have been kinda "obsessed" with this manga. This manga also have an anime too, it isn't as good as the manga in my opinion but if you rather watch anime than read manga than I'm 100% recommending watching the manga
The story is really good, how everything and everyone developed and changed through the series is awesome. Its kinda like revered nisekoi but its didn't drag the story out like how nisekoi does. The comedy is really funny, a lots of the times it got me laughing harder than most thing konosuba have been able to do. The romance is 10 out of 10 I can't lie.
The art is fantastic, also 10 out of 10, I want to have a tons of this manga arts/drawing set as my wallpaper, seriously I wish i can find any as a 1920x1080 pictures.
About enjoyment, trust me reading this manga will be and i promise it WILL be an awesome time.
Overall this manga 100% deserved it rating (8 out of 10). Its 1 of the best manga I have ever read and 1 of the few manga I have been able to keep up with for a few years and read the new chapter as soon as it come out. So if you haven't read this manga yet, trust me it will be 1 of the best romcom you have ever read.

Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet review
Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet is essentially a manga highlighting the love between two characters from opposing groups, or rather, nations. These two nations featured in this manga are the Western White Cats and the Touwan Black Dogs, both of which have their own principles, beliefs, and unique world views. Romio Inuzuka, the so-called leader of the Black Dogs, has been at odds with Juliet Persia, the leader of the White Cats, all the way since their days in grade school. However, this little squabble between the two isn't just any typical rivalry and it's because Romio Inuzuka is, in fact, madly in love with Juliet Persia! Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet tells the story of how these two students at Dahlia Academy face and overcome the many troubles that follow with an near-impossible relationship.

Story - 9
The story of Kishiku Gakkou no Juliet follows Romio Inuzuka, the leader of the Black Dogs, and Juliet Persia, the leader of the White Cats. The manga starts out by introducing the reader to the conflict between the two respective houses. This little squabble at the very beginning lays down the foundation for the rest of the manga. At this point, it would be normal to assume that there's absolutely no way Romio and Juliet could ever partake in a blossoming, pure relationship... Plot twist. They can, despite their social positions. This relationship between both Romio and Juliet, however, is a very risky endeavor, as their very reputations could be sullied and buried in the ground if found out. Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet follows this principle: "Keep the relationship under wraps." However, that's much easier said than done, as their "secret" inevitably gets exposed to character, after character, after character. This entire concept of this "secret dating" in a high class academy setting is brilliantly pulled off, and it's entirely because of the risk factor involved. One tiny slip-up could cause expulsion, or even worse. With all of that said, Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet gives the reader insight as to how bumpy a relationship between two characters from opposing nations can be and how it shifts the foundation of Romio and Juliet's daily lives.

Art - 10
Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet expresses sublime artwork all throughout the manga, and what's even more cool about it is that it remains consistent for the entire 119 chapters. It wouldn't be a bold claim to state that the art of Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet exceeds that of 90% of manga currently in the works worldwide. Although this might ridiculous and supremely overestimated, I can guarantee that the art is nothing to sneeze at. Readers tend to lose interest in manga quickly if the art is either inconsistent, not detailed enough, or simply bland. Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet, however, doesn't disappoint in this category. Every page is drawn in vivid detail and there are no super obvious mistakes or slip-ups to be seen. Even those irrelevant side characters that many don't care for eventually get a masterpiece of a full-page art spread (if that's what you call it). Truly speaking, the art seen in this manga is most definitely top class. There is no such thing, in my opinion, as a half-assed work of art in Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet.

Characters - 10
I personally found the characters in Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet to be extraordinarily unique and well-thought-out. It wouldn't be incorrect to say that every single character has his or her unique trait that makes them all the more intriguing, and this is absolutely right. Sadists, perverts, tsunderes, blockheads, overprotective kouhais: you name it, this manga has it. While on the topic what makes these characters so distinctive, the designs themselves are also very unique. For example, Maru, a guy who loathes Romio Inuzuka to the core, is usually cold-hearted but shows an unexpected soft side every once in a while. This is only one such example, but there are many more traits to be observed throughout the course of reading Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet. What's more, each character has their own little moment of personal development displayed usually for 2-3 chapters, sometimes more depending on what character it is, but every character, even the ones who play a small role, get a moment of their own in some form or fashion. This in itself is what makes the characters of Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet truly outstanding.

Everything about Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet was supremely above par, be it the vivid storyline featuring opposing nations in an academy setting, the forbidden love between two characters despite their social differences, the unique traits displayed by each character, or even the sublime artwork that impressively remained consistent throughout the entire course of the manga, Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet truly sets the bar high for any romcom manga to be created in the upcoming years.

Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet review
tl;dr: A manga about the development of bonds between a couple and those around them and how they change the world.

This manga takes a lot of cues from Romeo and Juliet. It’s about a prestigious school where students from two countries that are on terrible terms attend which results in the two groups of students seeing each other as enemies, but the hero, Romio Inizuka, and the heroine, Juliet Persia, fall in love anyway. Thus, as expected, a lot of people seem to compare them to the point of considering this a modern adaptation. However, this is fundamentally incorrect because they’re incredibly different works. The obvious difference from the beginning is that this isn’t a tragedy, it’s a rom-com with a decent amount of drama, so everything about it from the way it flows to the story itself are completely different and take nothing from the original. The other difference, of which there are hints of from the but that doesn’t really become clear until a good way through the manga, is that in the original the story was merely about two lovers that wanted to be together but couldn’t, this is the story about two lovers that wanted to be together and changed the world to accept their love. While romance is still a core aspect of the story, ultimately there’s a lot more to it than just that, and thus it is a very different kind of story.

Stories about change are generally pretty good with character and relationship development and this is no exception. The main couple both have good character and relationship development as they both strive to improve themselves for the purposes of their relationship and goals. The romantic development between the two for most of the story is just decent and is mainly carried by a few especially strong moments. However, these few moments are strong enough to hold their overall relationship arc very well, and thus it’s easy to get invested in them and their fate.

But just as importantly, or maybe even more importantly, is the bonds that they develop with the rest of the cast. There is a large cast of side characters with all sorts of different personalities and connections to the main couple. A lot of them are fleshed out quite well with their own backgrounds, motivations, and even character arcs, with many of them being incredibly likable and easy to get invested in. Over the course of the manga, the main couple develop close bonds with them through a variety of stories, and ultimately these bonds pay off in what feels like a really well built up to climax that was incredibly satisfying. I thought the manga would end there, but it keeps going quite a bit after that and more directly tackles the themes of hate between people and how to overcome that. It’s an incredibly simplistic and optimistic view, but I found it heartwarming nevertheless. And all that builds up to a finale that’s similarly too easy and happy, but still incredibly satisfying and perfect way to end things.

The main weakness of the manga I would have to say is its comedy. As this is a rom-com, the comedy is a core aspect, but in general the comedy in this isn’t all that great, just decent. It’s fine when the comedy is intermixed with storylines that have more substance as it works well to help with the pacing. But there are also portions that are focused solely on comedy that don’t contribute really at all to anything in the grand scheme of things which just felt like they were dragging on.

The art design is overall pretty great. The two factions have very clear visual codings which makes things easier to follow, and though it also limited what could be done with said characters, overall I still think the manga has really good character designs. The style also works pretty well for the story it’s telling, being somewhat shoujo-esque but with shounen like framing most of the time. The art quality too is overall solid.

Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet review
Ok so first, this was one hell of a ride. A story that took me one full day to see it's end. in most part just because i didn't want to see it finish. The story it's quite generic if i am to judge it harsh. But it's the way it's paced and the role the characters play in it that makes it stand out. The mc is at first just what i like, a rowdy son of a gun, running shouting and beating others. As anyone else in this story actually. But along the way you see him learning that by fear a problem is resolved just temporarily, but by talking it out and winning the heart of others, can a problem truly be resolved. Second, al hail Maru as he plays one of the biggest role here, so you who starts this story now, be lenient with him, would you? As for girls, or waifus as i should call them, there are plenty for everyone. With good parts and bad parts the story portraits the struggles in which every character gets involved. But together, them, and you as the reader see them through. Most importantly, the twists in the story are something else man. When you think this will happen or that, bam and puff, it's not like that.
If i am to talk about the romance aspect of the story, i should speak about my romantic life as well. As to not give too many details, because of the story and the characters you get to feel as if you are there with them, smiling when they smile, crying with them, it's just that kind of story man. I have to admit, the moment when it ended, man i felt empty, but just as it is in life, i made the memory of reading this masterpiece, and this will remain with me for all my life really. Good or bad everyone judges it in its own way, but for me it's a straight 10/10 man. Where will i find another story to make me feel like this, overjoyed, sad, anxious, happy, excited, pumped, and many other feelings, i actually don't know. But as for my last word for you the one who read until here, when you start this, think of this few humble words :"Life is a mystery, but whatever may come, let it happen and the memory will remain. As to when you look back, be glad that it happened, not sad that it ended". With this being said, thanks for reading this masterpiece and good day too you all out there, may we meet again someday. Farewell.

Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet review
Looking for some cute school romance packed with fanservice and cute girls? Look no further, because Kishuku is just the manga for you!

Story: 6
The story is nothing we haven't seen before: a forbidden romance, in which the two leaders of rivaling clans/dorms fall in love and must be careful to keep their relationship a secret. Cue misunderstandings, hijinks, and characters going to comedic lengths to hide their budding romance. There's nothing wrong with the story, but this is definitely not the manga's strong point.

Art: 8
I have no complaints about the art. It's cute and well-drawn. The backgrounds are gorgeous. Snippets of ecchi and some frames are drawn just for the sake of fanservice, so there's good and bad parts about it.

Characters: 7
Ah yes, the driving point of this manga. This manga is so jam-packed with cute girl characters that it almost feels like a harem manga. The male lead is a bumbling idiot who stands blindly for his beliefs and morals, and often ends up paying the price by getting beaten up by his own subordinates. The female lead is smol, cute, and pure-hearted. More characters include a super-kawaii second fem. lead, and a pervy glasses guy. There is not a single character you will not have seen in some harem/ shonen romance manga before, but you love them nonetheless.

Enjoyment: 8
There is literally nothing new or unique about this manga. Yet, despite this, you will be eager for each chapter release. It's a formula for success.

Overall: 7
I'm trying to give a fair rating, and originality is an important factor in judging. But if you're okay with reading a manga full of the common tropes and story arcs, then give it a shot. You're bound to enjoy it.

Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet review
Hoping reading this review helps you decide if you want to pick this one up into your list. Stumbling upon this manga and finding if its worthy of your time, you'll be the judge of that.

One of the reason why I started reading this manga is the Art. It has an amazing background scenery that fits very well with the overall theme of the plot. The character designs is one the best I ever seen especially the female character design, I also like the male design too, not as much as the female. While reading the wholesome part of the manga, that is where the Art style shine the most. The light and the shading looks incredible and the facial expression on every character that shows specific emotion was on point. The Artists and the stuff really put all of their hearts into it. All I can give to them is my respect and a few pocket money for making this manga, I salute.

Character development of the two Main Characters from enemies to secret lover was really enjoyable to read. Suppressing their feelings when in public and starting to bicker each other just to try to deceive all of the members of the house that they represent and a touch of comedy and paired with romance is one of a deadly combination if execute perfectly, thus the author of the manga execute perfectly. All of the friends of the two Main Characters helps them grow their resolute base on what they believe in. This kind of story really helps the reader to believe in thy self and have them to take a good grasp of what you should do if you love something or someone, just don't start a revolution.

Overall my thoughts of the manga. One of the best I read so far. It's straight to the point, no over stretching plot, no stressful antagonist that you really want to write and easy on reddit or starting a crusade with your buddies on MAL forum. Good plot development on each supporting character development that revolves around the two Main Characters. Charter Moe explode right into your face and a good healthy segment of Ecchi that you want to stare for a good one hour straight (Juliet garter belt and thighs!! Hasuki voluptuous curves and thighs!! Char voluptuous bust and thighs!! And many, many more!!). I just enjoy reading the manga that much is what I really want to say, so enjoy reading till the last chapter.

Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet review
Before I begin, this is a SPOILER FREE review, so do not worry about any spoilers for the story.

For this review, I will go by each category giving my brief thoughts on each.

1: Story - 10/10

The story of this manga is quite simply amazing. It sounds simple enough, and it is, but the story allows for this manga to truly show its genre: romantic comedy. There is plenty of great romance and plenty of great comedy. Honestly, it has such a great blend of each that it does not matter which you prefer (romance or comedy) because either way you will be wholeheartedly satisfied with the story. Of course, there is a good amount of drama in here to keep the story moving forward, and the drama that is in here is fantastic in my opinion. The story flows so well and nothing ever seems out of left field. That is to say there are no glaring plot holes or deus ex machinas.

2: Art - 10/10

All I can really say for this is the art style is incredible. Multiple times I just had to pause and admire how good the images and characters looked. Truly great art that helps showcase how much care went into this series.

3: Character - 10/10

If the story is so amazing, obviously that has to mean the characters are pretty amazing too. Because this manga is not that long (which is ok as it does not need to be), most character backstories are rather short and sweet. However, there are some characters with more in-depth backstories (aside from Romio and Juliet) and even these backstories are done justice. The characters are all quite memorable, at least to me, and are all certainly lovable for one reason or another. With so many different characters with different personalities, each shown great care by the author, it would be nearly impossible to read this manga and not like any of them.

4: Enjoyment - 10/10

As you can tell by now with my thoughts from the other categories, I really enjoyed this manga. At first, the chapters were long and it was sort of slow because I had already seen the anime, which is a very faithful adaptation . However, once I got past the parts I had already seen, it was honestly hard to put this down. Took me basically a week to read everything, only because I was busy some days. This is a manga I would spend a whole day reading if I had nothing to do. Of course, by the end I was sad because my time with the characters and the world was over. That being said, if a series is able to make you miss it when you are done, that means the series did its job well in the fact that it engrossed you in its characters and its world. Also, I enjoyed this manga so much that I actually would read the afterwords at the end of volumes and the bonus stuff at the end of volumes, which is something I rarely do as I am never this engrossed in the manga. However, with this manga I could not help but read everything there was, as I was actually interested in Yosuke Kaneda's thoughts and opinions because I loved his story so much.

5: Overall - 10/10

This manga is a masterpiece in my eyes. If you like romance or comedy (or especially both), then I would be surprised if you do not think the same. You can tell how much love Yosuke Kaneda has for this manga, which is not surprising considering he wrote it to express some of his favorite ideas. When an author puts so much love into a story, it is not surprising when those reading or watching the story also fall in love with it. Heck, this is my first review on the website despite being on here for years and having read plenty of good manga and watched plenty of good anime. It is my first review though because of how much I loved the story. I finished the manga at like 7:30 a.m. as I stayed up late reading it, and I knew I had to write a review on it when I woke up.

If you have read this far, thank you for reading the review and I implore you to give the manga a try as I hope you love it just as much as I did.

Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet review
This really, really is an awesome manga. This manga has a comedy and romance quality that is really strong and thick. Each page can fascinate the reader with the pleasure of reading this manga. Comedy that makes readers laugh out loud. Romance that makes readers want to feel the taste of youth love. As well as other parts that can make the reader surprised, touched, sad, upset, and all emotions mixed when reading it.

One Hundred and twenty-one chapters is a large number. Even so I still want to experience the magnificence of their school life. This manga can provide a very fun school atmosphere. Even though there were occasional problems and disputes, they were all resolved well.

I read this manga at first because I remembered the anime I had watched several years ago. I happen to be diligent in reading manga now. So I tried this manga. And the results are really satisfying.

The Ending of this manga is different from other manga or anime. There was a sense of satisfaction in me when I read this. Of course, because it was the end that i expected. They live happily and their goals are achieved. The things that i need maybe another spin-of about their school life.

The characters in this manga are also drawn very interestingly and beautifully. Also the characteristics of each character in it as well as its character development as expected. Reon and Siber are my favorite characters.

In conclusion, this Manga made me include them in one of the best manga I've ever read. And I'm really grateful to have read this manga.
