Domestic na Kanojo review
For clarification, I for one am not a fan of mangas/animes that write or talk about incest between siblings. HOWEVER, to whoever is reading this review, I assure you that if you are like me, this manga will blow your mind.

Story: Without spoiling, the story talks about the relationship between the MC, Natsuo, with the people around him, as well as his r/s with his step-sisters that are living with him. Despite how the sypnosis looks, the manga actually covers the growth of our MC as he progresses through his relationship with the many people around him and learns from each and every one of them.

With its superb attention to detail, especially with the background and story of the characters, it is also one of the very few manga that draws you into the world of the manga itself, and although I personally am not in the same situation as the MC, I could truly empathize and see from the perspective of the MC himself.

Art: The art of this manga is also truly amazing. Consistent art style throughout every chapter and volume, along with its beautiful art just pulls you in, enhancing every important scene that takes place.

Characters: Each character of this manga has a different personality and as a reader, you can really see things from their point of view, as well as why they are doing what they are doing. This is especially true in the later chapters that focuses on our main characters, Rui, Hina and Natsuo. It shows the different perspective of each character as well as the problems that they are going through. Through all the problems and issues surrounding them, they each take on different actions that brings forward results, which for better or worse, is understandable considering their situation.

Enjoyment: This is without a doubt one of the best manga I've read. I've never been on such an emotional rollercoaster in awhile, from happiness to anger to sorrow. The author has done an amazing job in portraying how each and every character feels as well as providing evidence/explanation to justify their feelings, allowing every character to be likable and before you know it, you'll be cheering for every one of them.

Overall: If binge-reading 200+ chapter in one sitting doesn't show how amazing this work is, then I'm afraid I don't know what will. On a side-note, if you're a person that can't stand love triangles or love r/s among family members, the first 60 chapters or so might not entice you to read this. But trust me, the manga get REALLY good as it progresses, which is evident if you manage to make it pass the first 100 chapters or so. Otherwise, I suggest you stay away from this masterpiece.

Domestic na Kanojo review
As many have stated beforehand this manga was a 9 or 10/10 up to chapter 220 something and then it just spiraled downwards. Nevertheless, I'll still give it at least a 6 since it was exceptionally good for like 80%+ of its run. I have never encountered such an addicting manga before. Once I found it I caught up to the most released chapter (219 at the time) in one sitting. I just read without sleep for 20 or so hours and in the next few months I had reread the entire manga six times. Therefore, I'd recommend new readers to stop around the 220 mark. Yeah it will be an unhappy ending but at least you won't witness the rapid decline in quality. EDIT TO THIS THE ENDING IS SO BAD I GIVE IT A 6/10 OVERALL(the ending last 50 chapters itself is a 2/10). READ UNTIL CHAPTER 220 AND THEN JUST USE YOUR HEAD CANON.

Story: 10 pre chapter 220, 2 post chapter 220
The plot was addicting, the relationships described authentic, and the pacing was great. Post chapter 220 it all spiraled. The arcs weren't that interesting. The best part of the manga: the relationships, went no where and the plot points that occurred were rushed. The only thing went well was the criticism of individuality, which remained a constant.

Art: 9/10
The art in this manga is exceptional the entire way through. The expressions and in particular the eyes that the author can depict are so good they are unrealistic. Kei Sasuga can perfectly depict any emotion she wants through just drawing the faces. There are even the .5 chapters which are a little more spicy and Sasuga could definitely get into doujins if she wished to.

Character: 9
The character development is quite realistic and accurate. In particular Rui, the female lead, goes from a robotic expressionless individual to the character with the most expressions throughout the course of the manga. All the characters are likeable despite their flaws, which they do to an extent overcome. There is a clear criticism of individuality and the choices that the characters make along those lines clearly backfire and lead to no success nor happiness.

Enjoyment 10 pre-chapter 220, 2 post 220 so 6/10 overall.

Overall 6/10

Domestic na Kanojo review
I thought I would write this review well it is still fresh in my mind I am writing this before hand since all of mal features are not up yet so I cant post the review right now but lets begin the review lets start with the story the story follows a main character named Fujii, Natsuo and he lost his virginity to a girl because she wants to experience sex she hopes to never see him again what will happen next that the story without giving to much away. now lets talk about the characters I think the characters is where this manga falls short a little bit but not by to much I will give the characters a 6/10 because for the most part I like the characters and a lot of the characters in the manga tells you about there back story and I dont really feel that there is any bad characters there might not all be good characters but there at least ok. if you do not like love triangles avoid this manga like the plague because this manga is one huge love triangle. now lets talk about the best thing about this manga and that is the drama it will keep you on the edge of your seat so to speak because I dont think I have read a single chapter that did not leave on a cliffhanger but this can also can be a bad thing because it seemed like at points this manga was just trying to force drama to the point it where it was obvious but I dont feel it is to bad next the art in this manga is solid not great but not bad if you are curious about reading this you can find chapters 1-164 by other means if you know what i am saying and crunchyroll has chapters 165-190 English translated of the day I am writing this because crunchyroll made a deal with the author of this manga but for some reason crunchyroll does not have chapters 1-164 figure that one out this manga is Available on crunchyrolll for FREE so if you want to keep reading this or you can wait until other sites have them in English but good luck all of the other sites are really far behind like 26 plus behind and a lot of stuff happens in those chapters to anyways overall a really good manga the only real negative thing I can say about this is that sometimes the drama is way to much I would definitely check it out.

Domestic na Kanojo review
I said it before and I'll say it again, Sasuga Kei-Sensei is one of the best mangaka ever. This manga, I read over what I think was about three days, was definitely one of the best reads of my life. I had watched the anime a long time ago and thought nothing more of it besides how great it could be if it was continued, until 2 months later I found that there were over 200 chapters of unused manga left to go with the story. Of course this just means I started from the beginning, and read all the way up to the end... and I'm glad I did; The first 80 chapters that did get adopted into an anime had so much more content that simply was left out I was genuinely surprised. Just like Sasuga sensei's last work "Good Ending", there was a gap between chapter 90 to around chapter 115 where it seemed like the story wasn't progressing in the way it should have been, this all fixes quickly though, starting with Rui becoming a chef, Then natsuo going to college, then everything with the drama club Togen-Sensei, Rui in New York City, Tanabe(Hina's Stalker), Hina's 'incident'. When Sasuga Kei dragged out her last work, "Good Ending", there was a point where everything was so pathetic it was like it was written by a completely different author, less emotion, less plot development, the rushed ending, etc... But during her time writing Domestic na Kanojo, I can honestly say that she nailed it in comparison(And I still gave Good Ending at 9/10).

The ending was so odd and unpredictable I didn't know whether I should've been mad at Rui and Natsuo, or happy for Hina; But when it's all said and done the ending was actually really well crafted given the situation from which the Anime/Manga started. Going in to the manga, long after watching the anime I was totally 100% #TeamRui but as the story went on I changed my opinion about this, even if only slightly. By around the 160ish chapter I had decided that both girls had their strong points and weak points and that neither of them was completely better than the other. I never really liked the situations that Natsuo had with Hina, all though I like Hina as a character. Where as with Rui, I like their time together and find it really fun and refreshing to read.

With manga, all though the story is better and there is more content, I could never really pull the same feelings out of a work, the way I can with anime, but this story was different, after I had gotten past my initial feelings of frustration and critique I realized that it all ties together well and makes the story great. Rui's philosophy of fate was extra interesting to see at the end of the manga, seeing as she was the most overprotective of Natsuo throughout their relationship; All though I can't say I'm a huge fan of seeing Natsuo and Hina in bed together again, I probably could've realized from the start that that was the way it was going to end up.

I cried to a manga for the first time ever in chapter 256, when after all that had happened, Natsuo could write again in the stead of Togen-Sensei after his death. Happy tears of course. | Despite EVERYTHING you just read above, I will always think that Rui x Natsuo is the best ship of the main characters, and will never be tarnished. --- *Everything I said above are just personal thoughts of course, and anyone who's read this far has either read it before, or is interested. If this is the case then my only advice as for how to enjoy it as best possible is to be open minded; Even to the things that some people would call NTR(netorare), and also to the many moments worthy of being called hentai, if you allow your personal opinions to be tested while reading this, I promise you will enjoy this story.

-I rated 'Enjoyment' a 9 instead of a 10 for three reasons; 1) Even though they had a kid, I still wanted to see Rui x Natsuo in the end, not Hina x Natsuo. 2) At certain points I felt frustrated by things that developed in the story one of the main points being the character's ignorance. "I like him but I can't confess," "I have to take her feeling into account," etc... This caused lots of misunderstandings, dragged on plot, and unwanted "Screen time". 3) I honestly think everything from the art, to the story, to the characters are worthy of a 10/10 rating same for the Overall, but it wasn't a perfect story, because it wasn't a perfect story I had to debunk something even if only a little.

Domestic na Kanojo review
First of all, this is the first review I ever made to a manga or anime in my life. Second, sorry if my english is not good enough, let's start then!
*CARE,MAY HAVE SPOILERS IF U ARE NOT READING THE CHAPTER 253 OR AFTER*

I start reading the manga because I was bored and remembered a little of the anime adaptation on my head so i decided go and think on enjoy the history but....
At the beginning all goes good, whit a good rithym, not to much deflected to the anime but in one point of the history all loose the sense.

The guy fights with all he have to finally arrive the heart of Hina. They start enjoy the moments (and i really enjoy that part) but the history makes a inflection point and they have a crisis(the point about they have to brake the relationship and she leaves all and go far). In this moment i say to myself "it's okay this gonna happen sooner or later" and here is when all the history goes plummeted. The author force ALL THE HISTORY around Ruri constantly, page after page, chapter after chapter and volume after volume. It doesn't mind the times Hina or another Girl makes an aproach to Natsuo, he have the determination of GOD (whit Hina, Natsuo loose all the faith very easy and fast, this is one of the things that makes me really mad about spent 3 days of my time on read the 253 chapters that i could find) to continue loving Ruri even after She brokes whit him. So this make the history very predictable in all of the aspects.

The author waste very good options of research the history using other characters like momo, serizawa or even misaki (the girl with problems with drugs).
My last tough is that the author loose all his ideas and make a plain history to only sell more and use the popularity ranks to decide on what girl he focus the history.

Story: 4
Art: 7
Character: 5 ( have good characters but the 3 main characters are really predictable and boring)
Enjoyment: 4
Overall: 5

Domestic na Kanojo review
I binged the whole manga in a couple of days after getting tired of waiting for a season two of the anime, that would probably not even come. I have very mixed feelings about this manga, so much so that I decided to write my very first review.

Domestic na Kanojo is the closest thing to a real realtionship in manga/anime form in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, it's by no means perfect, there are many others who do some things better... However the feelings I got after I finished this manga are something I don't think I've ever felt from an anime, manga or a movie.

Awkward and cringy in the beginning. Difficut but heartfelt and fullfilling in the middle. Ending how most probably thought it would... but DAMN, no one saw how we would get there...

I'm pretty sure that everyone who read the ending has pretty strong feelings about it one way or the other. I am not gonna spoil what happened or who "won". I am however gonna say that I feel like the manga had two distinct endings. The real one, that caused all the anger, confusion and sh*tstorm online and a semi-ending which most manga out there would do instead (around chapters 260-264), that I'm pretty sure a lot more people would have preffered to have as the real ending... myself included. The last 13 or so chapters felt really different to me. I'm not sure if the autor was pressed for time or somewhere along the way she was unsure how to get to the ending she wanted and that was her attempt to "set the story straigt", or if this was ALWAYS the plan. But whatever the reason, we got the ending that we got and regardless of how I feel about it, I cannot disregard the ejnoyment I got with the manga along the way.

There is one more thing I need to mention. The side characters were a blast and the story could never have been so enjoyable without them. Masaki Kobayashi and Ryuichi Nara in perticular were freacking gems!

I am not sure if I can recommend this manga, but even though I was frustrated and angry with the way it wrapped up, I do not regret reading it! So, if you want to experience something that will make you feel pretty much every emotion at some point in the run (and yes, that includes rage, confusion and regret) there are few other out there who do it better!

Hope this helps someone out there make their mind up about whether or not they should read Domestic na Kanajo!

Domestic na Kanojo review
I don't know where to start, this story has been a roller coaster of emotions from the start to the very end, and I feel like I can't go through this if I don't write my mind about it (kind of like natsuo).

I started reading the manga after watching the anime, I thought that the story of the anime was kinda of interesting and decided I should give the manga a chance, and I am glad I did, it gave me closure, although it wasn't the closure me or anyone else was expecting.

*Warning there can be spoilers*

In the begining I was intrigued of how the story started to develop, and how well the feelings of the characters were represented though the whole story. When Natsuo started dating Hina, I was already expecting a possible future where they could end together, however their relation was caught and they had to break up.

With this break up, it starts the new story between Natsuo and Rui, and it was perfect, it really made me feel happy about their relation, about how they would of solve their problems, how they were so cute together. Although I did not really like it when Rui decided to break with Natsuo, especially when Natsuo was already in a rough spot with his writing, but they ended up together, and that made me happy.

Now the ending of the story, Rui got pregnant from Natsuo, and I was really happy for them, and aí though that finally the story would end with both of them happy, however it wasn't what happened, the accident with Hina, made the owner of L'amant spoil the beans to Natsuo about Hina feelings, and this was when the manga turned to a new direction, it was really painful to see Natsuo and Rui breakup where they started dating, and how Rui was so okay with it, even after what they went through.

I must say, I did not quite understand why the author made the ending the way it did, maybe she wanted to give a happy ending to Hina, after she poured all her efforts to help Natsuo during the times that Rui just wasn't there. But it is still a little painful to see it end like this, I wanted Rui to be the one happy, especially with a daughter.

Although I did not accept the way the ending came through, I can't leave behind the rest of a magnificent story, where it made me feel things that I thought that I would never feel, and for that I thank the author for this story. Although if possible I would like it if there was released some kind of alternative ending where Rui was the one that had the happy ending.

Domestic na Kanojo review
As a disclaimer, I dropped this series chapter 74, so as I write this review, I've only read about 30% of this series. Whether you choose to value my criticisms or dismiss them based on how much I read, just know I'm only speaking about what I have saw.

First, allow me to soothe your mind and soul by talking about the good, that is, before I put on my apron, grab my knife, and butcher this series. Sasuga's art is consistently good. I don't think I read a chapter where I had any complaints with how it was drawn, so you can bank on this series looking visually appealing. Occasionally, you'll get a great double spread that will raise the ceiling for the artwork in the manga. If you can count on Domestic Girlfriend to deliver on one aspect, it would definitely be the art.

In addition, the comedy can be good, albeit sometimes for the wrong reasons. Whether this series entertains you by design or with it's ineptitude, if you walk away with at least a chuckle, then that should be viewed as a positive.

My last bit of praise will go to the fan service. Fan service can sometimes show a lack of confidence in one's writing by leaning on T&A to please the readers, but it isn't inherently bad. In this series fan service is par for the course, and as a self proclaimed, "man of fan service", I refuse to avert my eyes to panels of Hina's breast, I stare at them head on, I dream about them vividly, for what man could I be, to shun a divine blessing? I dare not find the answer.

As for the bad, honestly, I have no idea where to begin. There is so much wrong in Domestic Girlfriend, I'm struggling to focus on which issue I should tackle first, but I suppose I'll start with the premise. I dubbed this series "Heterosexual Citrus" when I first heard about the plot, and it's not hard to make the connection. A high schooler wants to bang his step sister and with that, a lot of drama befalls the characters. However, unlike Citrus, instead of lusting over one step sister, the main character lusts over TWO step sisters, double the incest, double the xp. Now the way I look at it, the pseudo incest alone isn't the only con dragging down this series, it's the multitude of hurdles that plague Hina and Natsuo's relationship. Hina is the stepsister of Natsuo, is 6 years older than him (at the time Natsuo was a minor), and is the teacher of Natsuo. The facts scream with a megaphone, that Natsuo should not pursue this relationship, that Natsuo should find someone else, that Natsuo should not even think of Hina as a romantic partner, but alas, Natsuo is deaf. Maybe, just maybe though, that's the point of this series, Natsuo is deaf to bad signs, Rui is numb to feelings, and Hina is blind to all good decisions.

Transitioning into the characters of Domestic Girlfriend, as a unit they are mediocre at best. On paper you would think Natsuo is a good character, he's smart, diligent, and a decent individual but he is insufferable to watch. Natsuo's indecisiveness will drive you up the wall and sure, you can somewhat defend it since he is a high schooler, but he's more fickle than a newborn. Chapter 7 Natsuo might like Rui, chapter 12 Natsuo might fancy Hina, it's a back and forth seesaw of "who should I be with." Rui is a more likeable character but even then I feel like her stoic personality is a tad bit overdone. Rui is so clueless, she doesn't even understand the concept of love, so much so, that she decides to have sex with a guy she literally meet within a hour. I think in writing Rui the way that she's written, she has potential for a ton of development but ultimately, her development amounts to realizing she wants to bang her stepbrother and that's just...yeah. The worst of them all though, without a doubt, has to be Hina. Unlike Natsuo, Hina doesn't have the excuse of being a horny teenager, she is a fully grown adult who jeopardizes her livelihood, all for a minor who also happens to be her stepbrother. Hina is supposed to be one of the most responsible characters in this series, yet she makes some of the most mind boggling decisions, that will leave you in awe, and not in a good way. If you're looking at a dilemma in Domestic Girlfriend and you think of a couple of smart routes to maneuver out of it, expect Hina to take a complete detour and take you places, devoid of logic and reasoning. The side characters are a plus though, in fact they're better than the main cast. It's very sad when a cafe owner and a high school girl, who has had more sexual partners than there are hours in a day, are leagues better than the likes of Natsuo and Hina.

Briefly, I want to pile on by pointing out the forced drama that this series tries to dish out chapter to chapter. When you see Domestic Girlfriend going in a direction where the plot seems to have mellowed out, prepare for drama to hit like an anime vechile. Out of nowhere, no matter if it makes sense or not narratively, there will be a "plot twist" soley for the purpose of keeping the attention of readers, and not to progress any real story elements. I won't go into detail but you'll start to see the pattern, drama happens, characters deal with said drama in various stupid ways, the drama ceases to exist, the characters pretend to have gained some newfound knowledge from their experience, rinse and repeat.

To conclude this mess of a review, I will say that Domestic Girlfriend is a trainwreck happening over and over. Sure, it may be fun to watch a trainwreck go down now and again, but once disaster becomes the norm and bad becomes the status quo, it transforms from entertainment to tragedy.

Domestic na Kanojo review
Art's great, read a bunch of this author's works and they never disappoint in terms of art.

...The problem is everything else. The best way to tell a story is to tell a seamless story. Especially with modern stories, if a reader at any point asks themselves "How many hoops did this character have to jump through to arrive at this idiocy?", you've failed as an author and especially a writer.

If the adults actually acted like adults in this manga, everything would've been resolved by chapter 90ish. If it weren't for the fact that this author has been active for many years now, I'd presume they're a teenager fresh out of highschool(or the Japanese equivalent). The angst is just that prevalent in this series.

It tackles serious adult problems in the scope of a tween still dealing with hormone imbalances. Honestly I wouldn't mind it as much if the MC wasn't such a beta-male bitch while somehow developing a harem off the back of his crushing insecurities. The guy's such a massive tool that as a gamer nerd /I/ want to flush his face down a toilet.

The MC's a pussy, the two main heroines kinda just occupy a neutral ground: One's good at cooking, the other's not. One's mature and the other's immature. Both are completely devoted to this massive shit stain of a MC and spend the majority of their screen-time creaming their panties at the thought of him. I haven't seen worse differentiation of romance targets since I stopped reading Chinese Xianxia novels' where every female love interest is endowed with "tremendous titties and jade skin", and some how all of 'em are love struck cock-mongers or damsels in distress any time the narrative mentions them.

Domestic na Kanojo review
I must say that my impressions are a little bit biased, because I'm from a culture of soap operas and telenovelas, thus, I don't see the dramatic points of the plot like a con.

That's a spoiler free review, feel free to read.

The story is a real dumpster fire, the plot could very well be from a random hentai from PornHub, but the author manages to work on a deeper and serious level about social taboos, relationships, growth, building up a carreer, depression, drugs and college. There's always a slice of life comedy tone sprinkled in the middle of it, and even though it breaks the tension, it prevents the story from being a dense and 100% mature work (like Oyasumi Punpun).

The plot twists and the melodrama are so over the top that instead of getting on the nerves for the absurdity, makes it even enjoyable, because they are the most predictable and most visceral outcome the narrative can take. You get yourself laughing and crying from plausible yet outrageous situations, cheers on and against characters, which made me read nearly 150 in one night.

And besides the art not being so distinct (actually, I think is pretty mediocre if isolated from the context), the panneling and composing of the scenes convey drama and emotions from the characters very well. Even bland characters can express a lot without the text.

It's not a piece of art, it won't change your point of view, or change your life perspective drastically, but when you read, is a pleasant, enjoyable time. With some really good sex scenes.

[Eternal rest, grant them, Lord]

Do the impossible, see the invisible
Raw! Raw! Fight the power!
Touch the untouchable, break the unbreakable
Raw! Raw! Fight the power!

Power to the peeps, power for the dreams
Still missing piece scattering, so incomplete
We be the most incredible soldier from underground
See how easy they all fall down

Digging to the core to see the light
Let's get out of here babe, that's the way to survive
Ya top of the head, I'm on the set
Do the impossible, don't you wanna bet?

'Cause a lot of things changed
We be waiting in vain
If you wanna get by no pain no gain
Wow! Fakers wanna test me again
Sorry, my rhyme's gonna snatch your brain yo

I'm still struggling for the straight up skill
We gonna, make it a-happen with the crazy rap skill
Get ready to rumble, now would be the time, uh huh
If you ain't know, now you know

Good luck fellas!
